Role Swap AU Part 4

Disclaimer: The theory that Monoma and Toga are siblings is as far as I know just that. A theory. It’s probably not canon, I personally just like the idea of it.

After fourteen year old Toga (given name witheld out of respect) tries and fails to kill her crush her parents are arrested for emotional and verbal  abuse and the failure to take care of their daughter and her quirk properly, leading to attempted murder. Because of the circumstances and her young age Toga is only sentenced to quirk therapy and what basically amounts to rehab. She begs everyone there to just call her Himiko in an attempt to distance herself from her parents and who they wanted her to be.

Pro hero Vlad King, who has a similiar quirk to hers, takes her under his wing. Half a year later she is adopted by his sister and rechristened Kan Himiko. They try to adopt her younger brother Neito too, but the young boy with a “villainous” quirk has already dissappeared in the cracks of the foster system. 

In Himiko’s second year at UA her class watches and analyses fotage of a fight betwwen heroes and villains. “Hey, Toga-kun! Think you can get us out of here?”, yells an inured villain. Himiko’s heart stops. (No, it can’t be. It can’t be.) “Sure can, dummy”, answers the villain called Toga,”Did you even have to ask?” He turns towards the camera. And Himiko stares right at her little brother’s face.

This Toga is basically AFO light. At the beginning he has the same limitations a canon Monoma (can only store and use one quirk at a time, has a five minute usage limit, loses a stored quirk after five minute usage, can only  copy one part of a quirk) later looses two of them (the storage problems) by “awakening” his quirk.  

 He still acts like he’s above everyone, but now has a less posh speechpattern and more apparent tsundere-tendencies. 

Didn’t always have a suit jacket. It was Zero’s originally, but Toga wanted to feel badass and stole it. (Because he would never ask if he could have it.) Zero says nothing when he sees him in it and just ruffles his hair, so it must be fine. 

You know that tiktok where canon!Toga isn’t allowed to drink wine with the rest of the league because she’s only seventeen? Has absolutely happened in this universe too. But instead of just drinking the apple juice he asks if he can at least have grape juice in a wine glass.

Hero!Toga

Turns out, I’m not that clever with villain  → hero titles lol Riding off my Magne and Spinner redesigns, it was only a matter of time until I did Toga. Her hair is my favorite to restyle. I was going for a candy store themed outfit.

The Exsanguination Hero: Vampire Queen!

So, here is my Hero!Toga for my LoV's!Heros collection! (Think I'll do Kurogiri next)

Her costume is Harlequin theamed Ice skating style leotard, and made with her hair woven into the fibers so that she doesn't end up naked after using her Quirk.

She has a pair of retractable needles and canister at her wrists, along with a set of vials for blood and replacement needles in a pouch on her back.

The Tiara is purely for decoration and not an official part of her costume, it was a gift from a friend and she always wears it for them.
