Luka Gets Lost In His Feels

Luka Couffaine could always feel the inner melody of a person.

Maybe it was autism.

Maybe it was a gift from God.

Either way life's been hectic for Luka.

Luka had a secret identity as Viperion.

Recently things had gotten stressful.

Even though Luka always meditated,the stress began to eat at him.

Soon Luka crashed out.

He broke several guitars made by him in a rage.

After Luka snapped back to reality he realized what he had done.

Luka called Adrien over.

Adrien saw Luka crying over the remains of his guitars.

"Luka are you OK?",Adrien asked.

"No.",Luka replied. "I'm not. Being a hero balancing a normal life is just so....complicated."

"I know.",Adrien added.

Luka and Adrien revealed their identities to each other in a way to be more honest when they started dating.

"People rely on me to be their calming voice but what about me?",Luka pondered. "Who will help me when I'm hurting?"

"Me and Marinette.",Adrien replied. "We love you so we'll make you feel better."

"Thanks baby.",Luka smiled.

The two boys kissed each other.

Luka listened to Adrien's inner melody.

The sad piano tune lingered but only in the background as Adrien's happy song drowned it out.

It wasn't easy learning his dad was a supervillain who wanted to save his mom but Adrien recovered though there were times where Adrien would experience PTSD attacks.

Marinette was there most of the time.

When she was not,her friends would be there for him.

Luka had done so much caring for everybody but now it was his turn to be loved.

Adrien didn't get how Luka understood inner melodies but loved Luka all the same.

Luka would recover and be a happier hero.

Alright so things will get crazy but tomorrow we'll take a break from autism stories in favor of a special story celebrating 4/20 and Easter!

The day after another autism story then an Earth Day special and finally more autism stories!

I have had to rearrange stories but I'm sure hopeful that the schedule I have in mind won't change!

After April I think I'll do Vinnie stories with Luna Loud and Demencia stories before then!

Reign was reclining on his cloud and watching people in the city. He spotted a fox and decided to keep an eye on him. The hybrid demon/fallen angel thought the fox was super cute.

*Kagefumi was dealing with some Villains who were on the run after being caught in a Bank heist, he then formed a few hand signs which then if Reign was watching, a Blackish red mist would come from the Kitsune hero before he and the Villains were engulfed, after a few moments the Villains were unconscious in pools of blood, it would seem the blood came from their noses as Kagefumi then pants softly, showing he used a bit of his strength as the police was able to apprehend them with the Kitsune quirk user's help*

Permanent Injuries in BNHA

BNHA is a very dangerous world with the quirks and hero work.

I know there are fics with permanent deafness for bakugou (due to his explosion quirk) and Izuku's chronic pain for constantly breaking fingers.

But brain damage?!

Like the NFL, consecutive concussions severely impairing heroes and ruining their decision making/brain functions.

Specific hero retirement homes that deal with the aftereffects of hero work ending in permanent injuries.

Hero costume makers heavily recommending head gear to protect from concussions and hits in the head. (Imagine debris from falling building hitting heads.)

Military veteran network and hospitals equivalent for retired heroes. A department dedicated to just dealing with retired heroes. Caretakers that specialize in dealing with retired heroes.

Retired heroes often only being able to find work in the hero industry since all their head injuries mean it's too difficult to transition to another type of career, whether that means they can't get accommodations for their needs or can't learn (since they have issues with memory retention due to too many concussions).

So if you think about it in athlete terms, heroes usually start fading/cutting out of their field work by their 30s. They pursue other endeavors - Aizawa with his 40+ hours per week being a teacher. Best Jeanist running an agency and fashion line.

Heroes like Endeavor and All Might still hitting the ground every day are rare at their age. Most heroes have a side career that become their main job as they get older.

Reigen having read about the prevalence of concussions among heroes convinces Mob to get a helmet added to his costume.

People think it’s dorky at first but after a close call that would have gotten him seriously hurt, the rest of the class rallies behind the idea.

I was gonna do a headcanon today, but....

I’m doing a @bakedgarnet appreciation post instead bc Chapter 13 of Hero Work is 🔥🔥🔥 and now we’re getting the last three chapters at a MORE FREQUENT RATE? I am in love with this story. While I’ll be sad to see Hero Work end, I cannot wait for Professional Work bc I know it’ll be as good or better. Keep up the quality stuff, fam! We love it all! 💜💜
