To gain control of Vah Medoh was not a difficult task for him to accomplish, but it was not instantaneous either. Revali & the Divine Beast did not see eye to eye immediately. The first thing he did was explore with the Sheikah Slate he’d be given, attached to his belt. He scoped out the location of each module with the help of the map that was installed. There were moments of vexation, especially when he thought he’d given an order, but the massive bird would do the opposite of what he instructed it to do, or it simply wouldn’t respond at all to him. There was also a moment of time where he nearly crashed into the rock pillar above the Rito Village ( he kept that a secret from everybody for the sake of his pride ). Though the job he’d been tasked with came with a lot of frustration, Revali was headstrong, keeping up his work with the Divine Beast & eventually he did get the hang of it.
