Violent coughs and gasps for air plagued Ravio as he crawled out from the ocean and onto the sandy shores of a small island as a pirate ship quickly began sailing away into the horizon. Once he was sure the tide wouldn’t drag him back in he collapsed in a large purple heap on the beach. 

 What kind of world was this?! There was water. EVERYWHERE. And he had nearly drowned in it. He should have just stayed home… 

 His vision was hazy and his lungs burned. He had only just managed to catch his breath when a figure crept into the corner of his eye. He immediately assumed the worst. “D-don’t hurt me!! Didn’t you take enough?!” He practically begged, his voice still raspy. Could this day get any worse?

Truth be told, Link wasn’t really paying much attention, since his thoughts were all over the place. He was thinking about what he should do and how he should do it. When he was about to turn around the corner, he bumped into someone. “Ah, I’m really sor- hu?!” He realized who he bumped into and just kept staring at the other for a few minutes, not sure what to say. This was just strange, but at the same time, there had been a lot of strange things going on lately so this shouldn’t surprise him at all anymore.

━ ❖  Rushing out to the waters allowing herself to be drenched in Nayru’s blessed yet freezing cold waters feeling no doubt amazingly on her heated skin. Allowing herself to float while anchored to the land with a safety rope tied around her ankle so if she were to float away she could always come back. It’s been awfully ages since Kaphona could relax. Brown eyes peering up to the sky wanting to know if there were people above the skies, skyward and possibility another kingdom up there.

       The flooding of Hyrule brought numerous nights without of rest for her and now as she laid among the waters she wondered as well if these waves were the same that took everything that she once knew. Slowly drifting away from the crystal blue sky to look forward at never ending waters that could possibly overtake her one day too. “  I wonder if the Princess of Destiny knew this day was coming. I wonder if she’s okay up there... Looks lonely. Did he ever leave Hyrule and managed to avoid the lands? Probably not. They all met the same fate. Ah! H-hey!” 

       Freaking out over seaweed touching her foot she Micheal Phelps her way to the shore not wanting to be eaten by anything like a shark or an ugly moblin. Clearly bored out of her mind since there was not much to do here as the Koroks were off exploring the water trapped world planting new trees is when she got the idea! 

  “  I’ll let Great Deku Tree know so he won’t think Makar rubbed off on me.”

         “  Whhhooooooaaaaa!  It’s so pretty here!  ”

    Childishly grinning in excitement matching the gleam in her eyes before rolling across on the sand after releasing her Deku Leaf away knowing it would be useless for anyone who did not posses magic nor the knowledge of plant magic. Watching it float away to its forever prison in this ocean world before turning back to the land of Outset Island. Taking off running to explore what this small dainty place had to offer since it looked untouched by many except a few travelers hoping to get directions, merchants, and even people wanting to leave their safe island. Though the one thing she really wanted to see was the world on the highest part of this place. Could she see her second home from here?

  Racing through being mindful to not run into anyone while laughing loudly when seeing a pig. Oh, forget about looking for her home, this pig was going to be her new friend. “Come here! I only wanna play little gu- HEY!” Snickering as it headbutted her down nearly knocking her Deku Shield off as the sword of Kokiri remained intact. “Alright, if that’s how its going to be, then so be it. Better hope you’re faster than me!” Hands placed on Outset’s dirt growing flowers underneath allowing this island to have some sort of gift of flowers they have never seen before. Oh yes, an flower swallowed by the ocean to never once see the day of light again except for Forest Haven.

  And so, Kaphona began chasing this animal around the island nearly knocking herself into a few people as she shouted at the animal.

✦ —— moments of isolation weren’t that common before to the engineer, and he feels tempted to merely flop onto his back and lay down against the ground-- take in the sun for the beams felt so warm, so soothing today. yet he decides instead to plop himself onto a rock and take out the pan flute he had been entrusted with.

          he doesn’t think himself to be particularly good at it and when he brings his lips to the instrument to play it, he doesn’t create much more than a simple melody. it has a lulling effect-- the exact opposite of what he wished, and he stares into it somewhat despondently. out of the corner of his eye he notices someone and he whips his head to look at him; his hand is already waving before he fully turns his gaze. though his gesture is friendly, his expression is bemused.

With a firm hold of a stick in one hand and a raw drumstick in the other, Wild sat in a run-down corner in his hideaway from the world. No one ever went to the Ranch Ruins. No one ever went to the Field, they were too scared of the (deactivated) Guardians. 

The rebuilding of the world came slow, and after downright rejecting interaction with other Hylians, he became a recluse to his little broke down corner of the world. No one knew who had saved Hyrule from the Calamity and he aimed to keep it that way.

Wild squinted at the figure approaching his make-shift hom. He didn’t want anyone here. He didn’t want anyone to know he existed. But, a part of him wanted to make sure the person knew he was friendly at least. He gave a gentle wave to the figure then went back to eating his drumstick.

beedle hasn’t slept in days, if he’s being completely honest. he had merely drifted into port the same time sleep snuck up on him; so quick that he hadn’t even the time to crawl into his hammock. but he’s already slept all through the evening and following night, and it’s nearly noon by the time link pokes at him.

         he chokes on a short snore before his dark eyes wearily blink open. (at least the bags beneath them have shrunk by now.) it takes him a split second to realize where he is and what’s happening, and he immediately sits up and snaps right back into merchant mode.

                    “Hoy, Link! What can I do for you today?”

(there’s still drool on his chin and the pears that he hasn’t noticed yet, and a large pear-shaped imprint on his cheek.)

          Link had certainly never seen himself in something like that and so he stood there astonished. “ You look –? I mean, great! It’s an interesting look on you - us? ” After the initial shock, the blonde smirked a bit, tilting his head while still inspecting the outfit with his eyes. “ It’s interesting seeing one of us all cleaned up like that. I got a question… when I go shopping – come with me? All of this, ” He says as he motions at him with his hands. “ is a better way of telling how I look in something rather than using a mirror. ”
