“It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you, Woody. How have you been?”

Bri stared long and hard at the other Fable, her emerald hues studying his familiar ragged form. She didn’t know how to react and before she knew it, she was. The girl slapped him across his face, hard enough to knock him back a few steps. “You idiot! Where the fuck have you been?!” All this time, she’d been worrying over the giant moron,... worried he’d died. And here he was, fine and healthy as ever. Why couldn’t he at least call or write?! At least tell her he was okay! But no,... “I’ve been worried! I thought something happened to you!!”
“Something about it still doesn’t sit right with me.”
Bigby scanned the room in a silent pause, eyes drifting from table to empty table as if he were searching for words. Things between him and Woody weren’t... bad. As a matter of fact, they’d been chummier than ever--if chummy could be twisted to mean not about to throttle each other. They’d come to a sort of silent agreement, as it were, and although they weren’t on the best of speaking terms, they hadn’t fought in a good few years. That was something worth considering, at the very least.
Bigby turned to face the bar again, elbows braced against it, hand rising to grip the shot glass as if by reflex. He glanced at Woody, watched him for a moment, attempting to discern just what that expression on his face was, as he mulled over his next words.
“But I guess that whole thing was fucked up without hindsight anyway. No point dwelling on it. You been keeping an eye on Holly?”

“Sorry, is this yours? Someone left it at the bar.”
