I think what makes Billy my favorite Superhero as of yet is that his ideals are more childish.

Y'know that quote? "What does the child have to teach?" Thats Billy for me as a hero. He believes the world should be fair, that people should be honest, that only good prevails and people should have what they want. That there be no pain or sadness. The world should be perfect, and like every child, Billy is right.

It's not as grand as other heroes in that way, Billy is a kid living by the sayings every adult he had drilled into him with a strong moral compass. Those classic lines of treating others how you want to be treated and not judging books by their cover are still fresh in Billy's mind, he is a kind and good child to a fault.

There's probably better and more profound ways to put it but Billy is a kid first and a hero second, and that's what makes him a good one.

I think they all have wonderful, different ideals, and for her it’s her belief system about the world in her own special way. She, besides Thor, is the only one who’s a god, and yet she has a very strong point of view. She believes in love, and she believes in truth. That’s a strong point of view. So Superman wants to save the world and all the superheroes want to save the world for a variety of reasons or they want revenge or they’re defending themselves. Whichever it is, she’s one of the only ones I can think of where she has a belief system that’s almost religious. “I believe in the betterment of you, and I believe in you, and I believe in truth. And I believe that you all can be better, and I will fight to protect you. But I also believe in better than that.” That’s wonderful to work with. And that is in this time. That’s something amazing to have. I believe in her. I believe that’s an important message right now. “I don’t want to fight. I don’t want to kill people. But if I’m in this situation, I’m going to fight for your right to be better people.” That’s a wonderful story to dig into. And have your own doubts about your struggles as the great superheroes have.

✮ - sleeping habits

Hinami isn’t a very good sleeper; she thinks too much whenever she is idle. She tries her best to get into bed at a reasonable time depending on when she has to wake up the next morning, but she often lies awake for hours.

If she reads before bed, she avoids lying awake thinking, but that’s because she gets immersed in the book and stays up much later than she means to, tiring herself out.

describe your muse’s sadness

Dave is the kind of person whose sadness hits him like a sock to the gut; if something really jarring or upsetting happens, it’s the kind of full-body, searing discomfort that comes with feeling like you’ve just seriously fucked up in an irreversible way. Mostly, I think, it comes from the fact that he was both neglected and abused as a child, so he’s inclined to believe any small fuck-up will be cause for people to stop liking him. If the sadness isn’t caused by something he did, then it’s caused by something someone else is doing, likely to hurt themselves in a way he can’t help them get out of.

None of this really matters, of course, because Dave never lets on that he’s sad.
