International media: Hmmm how many disrespectful/incorrect facts can we put out in the space of a few hours while making it all about us?
Pacifism - some trials of one of our ideas for our exhibition. Referencing ‘Information is Beautiful’s colour psychology wheel I have painted, doodled and mixed colour on top of two newspapers front pages following terror attacks. I used colours that matched my emotions to the events described on the newspaper and expressed this very abstractly with pattern. I think the result humanises the news stories more and makes them more real and less like an event that we have become desensitised too. I think the success of these pieces mean it is something we will develop for our exhibition.

#Manchester. For obvious reasons. This song has been humming around the back of the cranium the last 24 hours.
The video clip is magnificently anti-glamorous, like all the Beautiful South’s output. And the song itself is defiantly cheerful, in the face of everything.
Which seems apt. Awful what has happened in the city.
