She had lost track of how long it had been. For someone like her, time flew by quickly. A day to her could be a year to others. She had gotten used to that.

But when she actively started searching for something, someone, time seemed to slow down. It was as if she was feeling times effects for the first time. It was odd, and she’s not entirely sure if she likes it. But it’s never a matter of if she likes something, it has never been about her. It’s been about them. The twins that Enna Kros cared for, for the world she cared for. It was always about them.

She approached him with ghost-like steps, not making a sound. The only sound in this place was the sound of his broken laugh, his tears. He doesn’t notice her approaching, not until her hand is on his face. He tenses, and for once, her gaze softens. She could only imagine what had happened to him in the time him and his sister have been gone from grymiore. Gently, slowly, she is wiping his tears away. It was the least she could do. She was the one that woke them up and put their adventure into motion. 

Perhaps if she didn’t, he wouldn’t be here right now. They would still be safe, in her nine wood hills-

“Hello, Lann.” She smiled softly, finally pulling her hands away. The Girl knells down infront of Lann then, hands going into her lap. “You’re a tough person to find.”

She reaches forward again, cupping his face and gently pulling his head further up so she could get a better look at him. Those eyes....she didn’t think she would ever see that kind of look in his eyes. She thought look was reserved for her own eyes, and hers alone.

“You’ve been through alot.” She states the obvious, dropping her hands once more. “I’d offer you some tea, but this isn’t my dreamscape - it’s yours.”

Reynn spoke quietly, running her fingers through her brother’s hair. He must’ve had it like this for some time, but golly, was it knotty! It annoyed her that he lets his own hair get like this but… She supposed when travelling, having hair maintenance was kind of difficult. Reynn messed and messed, using her fingers like knitting needles to try and untangle the knots.

“Er.. I know that chi-- er.. lilikin are people are around here but uh... Did I just see a tiny Cloud...?” Runa asked, eyes trailing after where she thought she saw the familiar blonde. Maybe she didn’t--

What’s the name of that place he’s from again? Nine Miles? Hundred Acres? Well, she can’t remember, but what Yuffie does recall is that Lann promised he’d bring her to his hometown sometime and have her try some of his coffee. She doesn’t even know what coffee is! She’s only ever had tea, and she’s seen her dad drink something ‘ stronger ’ they called it, but she never quite pried after that! This new experience, this new adventure Lann offers to her for the sake of her birthday has Yuffie pretty riled up!

Except.... y’know, it’s the day in question, and she hasn’t seen him anywhere yet. Where did he go? Did he forget? She wouldn’t put it past Reynn to say it was dumb, or Tama to say not to make promises like that. It’s distracting from their ‘ big mission ’ or whatever. 

But hey! Yuffie is a help on this mission-- she’s a Champion, too, right? And they’re always going back to help Yuna and the Warrior of Light and stuff... doesn’t she count too?

Winter / Christmas Starter for @heroofgrymoire​.

“Two hot chocolates coming up...!” He breathes a sigh of relief as he finally sets both warm mugs onto the table, still feeling the remnants of their heat on the palms of his hands - at least he won’t have to worry about dropping and spilling them now, though!

“Do you want any toppings for yours..? Whipped cream, marshmallows, maybe some chocolate syrup...?”
