The first thing of note was that this was not the Lucas he’d made friends with. The second thing to note was that Red was a bit desperate for friendship with two thirds of his team missing. The result, just sitting there and letting the boy sleep on him. It was even a little endearing. Still, he felt lonely. Maybe he could sate that by adding more pillows to his pile.
