I’m leaning pretty heavily to Josie being involved slightly with Wolfram & Hart rather than Angel Investigations or the Scooby Gang, because there’s that whole duality theme with her that’s super fun to play. 

Before joining them, though Josie worked on her own to increase her magic and got involved with more than a few demons and vampires-- leading to her draw to the dark magic.

She works exclusively in the research division during her first few years, then is promoted to the Special Projects Division, due to her creative solutions to ‘problems’.

She stays on when Angel and his team join up, and thus begins the hard work towards her redemption arc and making up for all the awful stuff she was a direct cause of towards them and others. 

Josie ultimately fades out and is not involved in the final battle with the Circle of Black Thorn, severely doubting her power now that she’s trying to manage her darker side and be more neutral. But this leads her to travelling the world to exploring who she is and gives her a chance to meet up with other Buffyverse characters.

𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐈𝐔𝐒 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐎𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒  that  bring  him  as  much  joy  as  kissing  landon  does.   the  act  is basically second nature now.   it  is  as  necessary  as  the   ‘  i  love  you’s  ’   in  the  morning,   the  smiles  during  classes  or  even  the  touches  at  lunch.   kisses  are  so  easy  for  scorp  to deliver,   since  he  is  simply  placing  his  love  on  the  other  boy’s  lips  over  and  over.   so,   of  course  the  question  doesn’t  foster  a  response  with  diction.   it  does,   however  prompt  scorpius  to  respond  with  his  actions.   hands  firmly  grip  the  other’s  waist,   and  a  gentle  smile  is  given  before  lips  part  and  capture  landon’s.   eyes  close  as  the  taller  boy  softly  pushes  the  other  against  the  wall,   closing  any  possible  distance.   he  gets  somewhat  lost  in  the  kiss,   and  a  few  moments  pass  before  he  feels  compelled  to  pull  back.     ❝     hope  that  answers  it.     ❞     he  lets  out  playfully,   plump  lips  diving  in  one  more  time.   no  way  he  could  ever  tire  of  this.

she stares down with wide green eyes that peer over every gray speck that flutters off his face as he takes in the mid-morning sun. daffodils peek around ash-dusted jeans and ratty sneakers. they push, mid-bloom, around him as the dryad watches and interprets. she plucks one and twists the stem between fingers as serenely green as her eyes. lets the yellow petals hang over his face, in the mild curiosity of enjoying mortals when their eyes cross, and adds with little delicateness, ❝ And you burned part of my garden. ❞

“Trust me, I didn’t want to be here either but someone has to keep an eye on you and that was left up to me so where we are,” Lizzie sighed. She was more annoyed that they seemed to always be in this same situation, some monster was putting everyone in danger and someone almost died but didn’t. It was a cycle and it made everything so much worse but she couldn’t just not do it, that would only prove so many people right about her.
