“You’ve been in the sun Anakin, rest.” She’d found him alongside a small Togruta youth, half buried in the sand as a storm had taken him out. Part of her hoped he would have remembered how to survive a sandstorm, and part of her wished the Jedi would have taught much better skills, but in her heart, she was grateful for the chance to dote on her son one more time. “I assure you, your ward is fine. She’s in the other room, fast asleep. Rest now.”
An idle hand on his forehead calmed them both it seemed as he closed his eyes. If she could she’d have stayed in the quiet moment forever, but dawn always came and the magic would fade, she knew that.
