In my head: I had my tray table up, and my seat back in the full upright position

In my head: Big bowl of sauerkraut! Every single morning!

The cops: Is there anything you need out of the vehicle?

In my head: My lucky lucky autographed glow-in-the-dark snorkel

The cops: because we can't have you walking back across highway traffic

Trying to get ahold of the car rental company at 1am: *phone ringing forever*

All of the pizza places in the area: we don't deliver after midnight

In my head: All I got right now is this box of one dozen starving, crazed weasels

Somehow, this kept me from having an emotional breakdown until I was safe in my hotel room with food

My cat knows sit, stay, come here, get down, use the scratching post, and "it's time to feed the kitty!" which means, "go sit in your designated spot and wait for me to prep your food" so that she's not underfoot and I don't trip on her.
