There's a BIG problem here....I've noticed that it's SO hard for me to burn body fat, even if I'm eating very cleanly throughout the whole day, when I'm sitting on my butt for 9 hours 5 days a week! Yep, I have an office job, and when you're sitting at your desk in front of the computer, concentrating on your work...Your mind is using up all that energy and you just feel like eating, but your body is stationary and hardly moving! I used to think that perhaps this could be undone by keeping active after work, but for some reason, it just doesn't work that way for me!
I remember when it was always so easy for me to be in good shape - when I worked in retail in a fashion store - I used to be on my feet for 6 hours at a time - walking around and being active.
This tells me it's time for a change. Now that I'm not dancing anymore either, things are getting harder! SO here's what I'm going to do. I don't like doing exercise in the morning before work, as it makes me tired blah blah blah...but I'm going to train my body to ENJOY doing exercise in the morning before work - in a way that it will actually charge me up and keep my metabolism running strong throughout the day. I'm thinking this is the way I'll split my morning on days when I have to be at work by 8:30.
7:00 - wake up, get out of bed, brush teeth, put on exercise clothes.
7:15 - get on the treadmill and walk at 6.5 for 30 mins.
7:45 - shower, drink plenty of water, get changed into work clothes.
7:50 - get food packed for work, hop into car, drive to work.
8:20 - get to work, do all our morning jobs and morning meeting etc...
9:00 - doors to the agency open, I'm at my desk, ready to have a discreet little breakfast - cottage cheese or greek yoghurt with cucumbers or berries and nuts!
