         HE   STOOD   STOCK   STILL   as  the  knife  was  thrown  his  way,  unflinching  at  the  challenge  --  though  his  woefully  empty  palms  began  to  itch,  &  his  eyes  darkened.  A  thousand  blood-soaked  possibilities  washed  over  his  mind.

But  he  wasn't  that  out  of  control  of  himself.  Not  yet,  anyway.  That  being  said,  Puck  stepped  away  from  the  blade  regardless.  Just  in  case.

        ❝   I  prefer  to  avoid  using  weapons  in  a  conflict,   ❞   he  said  earnestly  in  that  soft,  thoughtful  voice  of  his.  He  scratched  the  side  of  his  face  for  the  sake  of  occupying  his  antsy  fingers.
