LADY & THE TRAMP (1955) . Favorite things: The entire scene of precious baby Lady trying to escape her bed and sneak upstairs 🐶🛏, Jock’s accent and the way he scrapes his little fluffy feet at Tramp, the evil Siamese cats’ scheming song 😼😼🎶, of COURSE the classic spaghetti and meatballs 🍝✨ with Joe’s questioning: “Tony, dogs don’t talk…?” and Tony’s retort of: “He’s a- talkin’ to me-a!”, the way Tramp pretends to be some guy’s dog at the zoo to get him in trouble 🚨🐾, the beautifully detailed Victorian background paintings, and sweet faithful Trusty who never could “… recollect if he’d mentioned Old Reliable before…” . Biggest questions: Could Tony’s really be “the best spaghetti in town” if they had so few customers that they decided to sing and wait on dogs 🍝? Unlikely. What made them decide to make that rat look like a straight demon?! 🐀😈 Terrifying! And did Walt intentionally try to drive up dog adoptions with that scene at the pound?! SO miserably sad! 🐶☠️😭
