Many may be interested in how I came up with the idea of CFP, not even as a character, but as a "country"(it would be more correct to say settlement or commune).

I have been interested in and supportive of anarchism since I was 12 years old, and some time ago I read about countries/settlements founded on anarchism. To my surprise, it turned out that anarchist settlements exist, and quite well, although I thought that anarchism was an incomprehensible utopia. My main inspiration was the self-proclaimed city of Christiania in Denmark, it was founded after the Second World War by hippies and still exists. There is no authority or hierarchy there, and yet the society lives according to the principles of socialism (it’s almost like communism, but light). In fact, it is a very beautiful place, I would like, if not to live there, then at least to visit it.

This city showed me that it was indeed possible to build an anarchist society, and I had the idea that I could, some day, create my own little commune... Then, for fun, I turned it into a fan-character for Hetalia.

I want to say thank you all for welcoming CFP so warmly. Honestly, I was afraid of hate and at first I didn’t tell anyone about her. Sometime later I will tell you about the politics of the Commune of Free People itself, but for now that’s all.
