Road To Avonlea - Season 2, ep. 01 (Sara's Homecoming)
**After being put in charge of Lawson's general store, Sara accidentally sets fire to the towns Dominion day fireworks (with the help of a wicked Felix) and mayhem erupts. So does Uncle Alec. After Felix puts all the blame on Sara, Alec tells Hetty that Sara must be severely punished. Although Hetty and Olivia find the matter funny, Hetty sends Sara to her room, but before she can give her punishment, Sara receives a letter from her father, Blair Stanley. He wants Sara to come home to live with him. Feeling hurt and angry, Sara says she wants to go and Hetty has no choice but to comply. The next day she and Sara set off to catch the train to Montreal.
“People will leave our town - some may have to - but Avonlea will never vanish... but wherever they go all the young people of Avonlea, the memory of this place, the people, the land, the sea. These things will never be forgotten but will remain in their hearts forever.”
Hetty King, Road to Avonlea
We know what we are to each other, and that's what counts, isn't it?

I know Both/Neither.
Agnes van Rhijn and Ada Brook from The Guilded Age are basically the exact same dynamic as Hetty and Olivia King from Road to Avonlea, right down to taking in a niece in financial difficulties.
Drag kings have always been an important part of drag culture! There’s a rich history of ~male impersonation~ in the United States that dates back to (at least) the 1800’s! Watch the full video here.
