Based on no evidence at all, I like to think the Dragoon order were very welcoming of a DRG WoL in Heavensward.

Here’s this recently betrayed and homeless lancer who just wanted to fight the good fight but got screwed over by politics. The fact that they’re all calling on the inner dragon all the time must make the dragoons at constant risk of heresy accusations, perhaps fuelling the order’s distaste for getting involved in Ishgard’s power games. They all know far too well the risks of being a lone dragoon in a world at war.

Random FFXIV screenshots as I get used to doing stuff with them.

1. Based on a fic idea I had about how the LNC/DRG missions would’ve changed for Baroouse (it would’ve gone totally off the rails around LNC level 30, because I did the ARR DRG missions after already reaching HW and the way they play out there would’ve made zero sense plotwise. Also I did LNC 1-30 after beating Ultima Weapon, and came up with a justification based on that so that Baroouse could catch Foulques. I can explain on my main blog later maybe, assuming I never actually write the idea.) Foulques and Heustienne end up going off and having an adventure.

2. Another, simpler fic idea. Baroouse takes Leih Aliapoh to Idyllshire to take a break from training and meet some distant relatives. Zhloe is ecstatic.
