Futura and genderbent-version Futuro (2018) Futura: Drawing from the Gamers Assembly. "Mircea Vlad was born on a parallel Earth that was in the process of being taken over by an all-powerful, evil cosmic entity known as the Great Mind, and where humans were progressively turning into creatures like the Great Mind's agent, Wampus. DIMENSION SUPER-HEROS 2

  DIMENSION SUPER-HEROS 2 is out! Presented by Romain d'Huissier and Julien Heylbroeck, "DIMENSION SUPER-HEROS 2" (Dimension Super-Heroes 2) is a 388-pages long anthology. It contains nineteen short stories, depicting the feats and deeds of the heroes of the Hexagon universe (French superhero comic books published since the fifties). Great, dynamic texts, full of action and pulp atmosphere, written by d'Huissier and Heylbroeck, of course, but also Jean-Marc Lofficier (big boss, living legend of comic books, and the one who rebuilt/united the Hexagon universe in the first place), Robert Darvel, Amaury Fourtet, Blanche Saint Roch, etc... The short story concluding the anthology is written by Raphaël Lafarge, aka your friendly neighborhood Cauchemar. It's called "Valeurs" (Values) and features two dark characters from the Hexagon universe, Wampus and The Other. Prequel to the "The Other" comic book series, "VALUES" depicts how Golden Boy, the greatest superhero of Other-Earth, was manipulated and utterly corrupted, in pain, grief and tears. The Other-Earth itself is a sinister setting, a parallel world where most of nations drifted slowly towards totalitarism. Good ending not included. And... sorry anglophone friends, it's still all in French.
