Tada~ one colossal golem
Hope you like it ^^
Is there any evidence that Henry 'Headmaster' Masterson from Transformers Animated and Senator Masterson from Inhumanoids are related? Inhumanoids are canon in TFA - the events of the series are referenced in the AllSpark Almanac - but I can't find any confirmation that the two Mastersons are linked. Is there any?
HA! No, there isn’t, but wouldn’t that be hilarious and fitting! Jerky anti-social son of a rich senator, never wanted for anything in his life, always had the best tech, never been told “no” before - and when Isaac Sumdac is the one to finally do it, this loser jerk nerd stamps his feet and says “well them I’m gonna be a supervillain and I’m gonna SHOW YOU ALL!” It could certainly fit!
(Though we must be fair and point out that the reference to the Inhumanoids in the Almanac is noting that it’s canon for the G1 cartoon, not Animated, since the character of Hector Ramirez appears in both series. In Animated continuity, the Almanac only notes that the Inhumanoids were enemy characters in the “Ninja Gladiator” video game Bumblebee plays in “Where Is Thy Sting”!)
reply roundup!
under a readmore, everyone got really chatty in the past couple days and I don’t want to miss anyone! I like seeing your tags and replies :>
9 & 11 for the TMNT ask game? ^^
TMNT Ask Game
9. How much of the franchise have you seen/read?
At this point, I still haven't gotten my feet wet with much of the franchise outside the 2003 series, which I am admittedly a bit embarrassed of XD Among other versions that I have actually seen/read at least a part of:
IDW comics (I'm up to Issue #31, so still not very far)
The Last Ronin mini series (haven't read the Lost Years prequel yet)
The first movie in the 1990s movie trilogy (still need to watch the other two)
The Batman vs TMNT movie
Shredder's Revenge (I have not actually beaten it because I am terrible at arcade style beat 'em ups)
I have also started reading the original Mirage comics, although I've only read the first two issues + a bunch of random issues down the run (specifically the original Sons of the Silent Age, the one with Jhanna, The Blue Hole issue from Tales of the TMNT, and the ones where Leatherhead gets kidnapped by that group of Utroms called the Illuminated.)
11. What is one head canon you believe so strongly, you sometimes forget it's technically not canon?
I had a long ramble a while back about the idea of Splinter being a kind of yokai in order to explain things like how he was able to learn martial arts from Hamato Yoshi by mimicking his movements. (I was speaking strictly in the context of the 2003 version, but I imagine you could probably apply it to any version of Splinter that abides by the "Hamato Yoshi's pet rat" backstory.)
5, 10 and 13 for the ask thing please! ⊙ω⊙
