I haven't been able to get some good free time to draw lately, but at least I can write a bit at the end of day 😅

Here's a teaser for the upcoming chapter of Act 1! I'm rewriting the scene where Jinx meets Heimerdinger and Jayce. It doesn't have the same drastic difference as the rewrite of when Jinx met Viktor, but it surely is different now:

Context: They are at Viktor’s apartment, and Jinx just woke up from a long nap.

Some sketches of Jinx getting a helping hand from Uncle Jayce to test one of her inventions in this AU. She calls him "Uncle J." while he calls her "Loose Canon".

Jayce gives me the vibes of a person that doesn't know how to deal with kids, that kind of person that talks and smiles awkwardly with a kid. But in this case Jayce was lucky because he can talk about science with Jinx, what helped avoid those awkward moments most of the times.

Jayce: Viktor, can you please incentive Jinx to get another hyperfixation?

Viktor: I can't control that nor can she.

Jayce: Viktor... please!

Viktor: Jayce, we had this conversation already.

Jayce: VIKTOR! Her current hyperfixation is on colored fire!

*muffled explosion in the distance*

Viktor: I will call the fire department.

*academy's fire alarm is activated*

Jayce: IT'S THE THIRD TIME THIS WEEK!

tm!Jinx has ADHD and she has some interesting hyperfixations on science related subjects in which she uses as inspiration/base to create new toys or other inventions (ex.: the colored fire mentioned here turned into shaped fireworks). My friend, @beanswithbones , has adhd and helps me write her when it comes to this subject.
