As much as I like Jayvik, I think them being platonic is so powerful. Like. You're telling me that the most powerful relationship in runeterra, the one that literally rewrote the universe, is platonic. Their devotion to one another is so pure they are dependant on each other in every universe. It doesn't need romance, it doesn't need sex. They love each other in the purest form.

I just think it's so powerful. Like, doomed yaoi and all, but REALITY ALTERING, TIME TRAVELING, DESTINY DEFYING BROMANCE?

That. That gives me life.

So I finally watched Arcane Season 2

I'm so happy I could cryyyyyy, I love genuine representation of platonic love and devotion. The media has over-romantasided everything to the point where we expect romance where it may not be, and that can be quite damaging to aspec people, so combating that is so special to me and I could just go on and on honestly

This feels like an important edit to add: I am disabled. Physically disabled. Please do not try and tell me how disabled people should be feeling??? This post is my personal opinion as an aspec disabled person. I have been badly affected by over-romantacism and expectations of romance to the point where my own feelings have been denied for the sake of expectations of what platonic love should look like. Them being platonic within the show MADE ME HAPPY. If you aren't happy about it, that's cool, but this post isn't about you. It's about my own opinions and emotions... thank you

I'd also like to mention I have since been educated about to creator's lack of knowledge about asexuality, and this is not what I am supporting. I've always headcanoned Viktor as asexual, that is all
