NEW STUDYBLR NETWORK

I am incredibly excited to introduce something I have been working on for a little while: The Canadian Studyblr Network.

What is it?

A network dedicated to linking Canadian students of all levels and fields of study!

Why make a network for Canadian studyblrs?

The Canadian school system can vary quite a bit from other school systems, especially for the American and British systems, and the university application process, requirements, and costs can differ as well. I want to create a space for other Canadian students to ask questions, get information, meet people, discuss Canadian news and events, and possibly participate in some giveaways that extend to Canada (yay!) This network is open to anyone studying in Canada. 

How will it work?

There will be another post going around once the network is officially up and running, but the gist is: 

step one: be a studyblr studying within Canada step two: follow the blog step three: follow the admins step four: there will be an application to provide a bit of info (your classes, which province you’re in, grade level, etc) And that’s all! there will be a member page to encourage making new friends, and once you complete all the steps, your studyblr will be included on that page for others to see!

As of right now, I am looking for a couple of other blogs to run this with me, so if you are interested in becoming an admin, please fill out an application here! Once the blog is up and running, I will set up a form for members!

I am so frustrated with the state of politics in the United States I could scream.

It’s more than the Republican party. I get it. They’re the absurdly cliched, over-the-top, cartoonish villains in this scenario. I get flashbacks to ‘80s and ‘90s cartoons when I hear what stunt they’re trying to pull next. They’re furthering our society to such a dystopian degree that partof me is literally waiting for some rogue team to heroically storm D.C. This team may or may not be wearing odd uniforms and have their own theme music.

It’s the Democratic party. The assholes who keep rolling over. Who keep compromising. Who seem more interested in guilt-tripping Democratic voters into donating money than to stand by their own promises in D.C. Who feature far too many assholes who might as well shrug and join the Republican party. Who may protest but who REPEATEDLY give into racist and sexist and discriminatory practices because they are rich enough (and for the most part, white enough) to rise above the horrific effects.

It’s the fucking news. The same fucktards who helped Trump get elected in the first place because they kept giving him too much time and too much attention and continue to fucking do so instead of focusing on other people and things which actually fucking matter. Who focus on Hillary Clinton instead of the fucking orange traitor. Who focus on Trump’s fucking tweets instead of all the illegal shit he’s pulling and all of the terrible laws he and his are trying to pass.

People are dying and it’s directly because of this administration. More people are going to die. It’s going to get worse. Yet somehow..this is all acceptable? To the Democrats who roll over and the news who move onto the next celebrity and all those assholes who are so quick to point out that, well, such and such did THIS and isn’t that comparable to something Trump said/did?

It’s not just Trump and his cronies fucking up this already fucked up country. Holy fuck, do they have a lot of help.
