Hey Sunshines .... let’s soak up vitamin D while we can! So very good for our muscle, bone & immune functions ‼️Took a recent blood test & as usual came back deficient 🤯 lab range is 30-100; I tested at 24. I’ve been working to get it where it needs to be. Few tips: ✔️Sun is theee BEST, free & 💯 natural ✔️keep arms & legs in sun for about 20mins. generation happens when the UVB rays from the sun are at an angle of ~35 degrees from the horizon (between 11am & 4pm) & peaks when the sun is directly above you (around noon when there’s no shadow), but it really depends on location & time of year. ✔️don’t use sunscreen/block as it will stop the UBV rays from combining with cholesterol on the skin & blocks D production. No bueno ✔️showering? It takes time to convert UVB & cholesterol into inactive D3 in the liver so avoid showering immediately after sun exposure. ⚠️ Wait at least 1 hour! ✔️there’s also vitamin D supplements. I’ve taking 1,000-2,000 IU daily but check with your doctor on dosage. **I am not a medical professional ✔️Step outdoors & go greet the sun that was a lot huh?! anywho my next Vit D check is in 5 weeks.
