why can't you be an astronaut? is there a height/weight requirement or something? you'd be such a good astronaut!

unfortunately :( among other requirements you have to be between 62-75 inches and have eyesight correctable to 20/20 - i’m 54 inches and blind in one eye :((((((

ive accepted it for the most part but sometimes it makes me sad that i know exactly what i would love to do most with my life and i cant because im too small. BUT maybe doing the other job that researches how space affects our bodies would lead to new preventative technology so other people in the future can go to space regardless of how small/tall they are
