How on earth do you see without any eyes?
“S’kinda weird, but ecohhstuff! Dat stuhff bats do?” He’s having troubles pronouncing the L in the word.
To demonstrate, the oversized plant gives a small twitch of his petals and looks around, eventually pointing to a small mound of rocks in the distance.
“Sound ‘n ‘iight bounces offa stuhff ‘ike dat rock an’ I can see dat way! S’what ev’ry Piranhhha puuant does!
I fink...”
*The anon sneaks up with a hose, turning it on as soon as he sees an opportunity*
Minding his own business. Feeding on the sun. That’s all he’d been doing.
A yawn.
Then the water.
The mutant immediately stumbles back, screeching in surprise, crashing to his hands and knees and coughing, hacking up the alarmingly large amount of water that had got into his mouth.
Before pinpointing his gaze onto the offending anon. An icy, hard glare that shouldn’t be possible from a creature with no eyes.
He reels his head back.
A loud screech. A warning. He doesn’t attack them, but he will if he needs to.
Leave.

A pause in his actions, petals fanning out at the sides of his head, the giant plant shuffling backwards from his seat by that same sunny cliff he always loved upon hearing the sound of a voice. A familiar one. And familiar vibrations. Now who could that be…
Only one person called him Pete.
“Pop! Ey!” An excited grin took over the mutant’s face as he looked down to his friend. Eyeless gaze momentarily shifting to that over-sized bag the thief always seemed to carry, he’d maneuvered his body to better face Popple. Or, whatever the sightless plant equivalent of facing is. Boy was he excited!
“So! Whaddaya got dis time, hhuh?”
Would you eat beans
“I dunno, if dey were ghood I guess? But-”
A pause.
Then it clicks.
A growl.
“EY! YOUS FINK YER SMART?! I AIN’T Fuh- Hh- YYYOUS AIN’T TRICKIN’ ME! NO! I AIN’T GONNA E- NO!”
How bad can you be?
“Get yer memes outta hhere.”
Will you accept our lord and saviour, chungus?
“Nope. Perish.”
Do you eat bones?
A pause. He knows this is a joke, but he’ll answer it normally anyway.
“I eat what I ghet, ‘n sometimes dat inc- Uuh…
Sometimes it’s bones.”
Noooo Petey don't be sad! *Hugs the sad plant*
A slight flinch at the anon’s advances, but eventually he accepts it. Petey isn’t one to stay sad for too long anyway.
And this time he can shake off the instinctual fear that whoever this is was moving to attack him.
A leaf warily wraps around the anon, the plant’s attempts at returning the embrace.
It’s oddly welcomed, to be honest. The only other person that lets him get this close to them is Popple.
