I remember the time I hyperfixated on Nedbo and South Park in general and wanted to see what was up after one year, and I didn't expect you to still be active and making fanart, holy carp. Keep doing good work love those old gays homophobic man
tehehe i’m honestly surprised myself i have lasted this long being into nedbo. don’t know why i like them so much, i kinda just do!
since nedbo has actually been my longest hyperfixation for so long it developed into a special interest! and as a result, i know tons of info from nedbo itself to the fandom. i actually know more information on nedbo then the actual wiki page, which isn’t too hard knowing how minimal anything about nedbo is tehehe. and as the fandom, i can tell you who made what post just on style and who to best avoid. being in the nedbo fandom has made me see both the good and the bad apples (but the bad is very small so dw!)
side note, i think it’s funny that i am highly knowledgeable about the vietnam war and larynx cancer/laryngectomies since i would have never cared for those things until nedbo showed up tehehe
repeating back to nedbo having very few info, if you ask me, i actually kinda like how there is very little canon material to work with because that allows me to create my own versions/stories in both art and in writing, like if matt and trey aren’t gonna use them, i might as well take them! the shift from being in the batman fandom which has so SO much content with a equally massive fandom to nedbo that only has 3 pages of info and probably less then 40 minutes of actual content with at best 4 people in the fandom is something i think about a lot tehehe
even though they are just drunken rednecks, i can not stress how much nedbo truly means to me. they have genuinely help me so much throughout my days and it literally has changed me, i have met so many great people in the nedbo fandom, i mean i met my ex and so as my super duper awesome steve tehehe (hi steve i know your reading this :P). i like the smallness of it since you know everyone and it’s like one big friend group, even though i may not talk to everyone, it’s nice knowing everyone likes the same thing as you do. :)
leaving the nedbo fandom now would be absolutely insane since i’ve been working on a nedbo fanfic for as long as i’ve been in the fandom (march 2023). i’m so extra on that fanfic but trust me it will be fire when it’s finished. to wrap things up, i probably stayed in this fandom for so long because of the very limited content that allows me to create, the tight and passionate community, and 50 year old men 👅/hj
side note i really apologize for only getting back to you now! i was planning my words for this thing and also i went on a trip to visit my super duper awesome person!! (best trip ever btw tehe) so that’s why i was delayed (also yes! i visit my nedbo oomf irl!! but thats a story for another day tehe)
