My Dream Job English 101
As a child, I believed that law-enforcement officers, such as police officers, were the backbone of our society. Everyday existence would be unbearable without it. We can attempt to build a relationship between our own unique beliefs and the reality in which we live by engaging in the legal system. Evidently, a reasonable sense of law is a powerful prerequisite for transformation, allowing society to pursue universal equality and justice. Aristotle once said, "Even when laws are written down, they should not be left unchanged." As I enroll my self in the program of Bachelor in Science of Customs Administration, I had no idea what I was going to learn, but I knew what I wanted to learn. I thought this class was going to be about mock law courses and debates, but I'm glad it wasn't since I learned so many new and important topics this semester. After taking this course, I have a new perspective on law school. I discovered how difficult and crucial law school is while taking this course. I've been increasingly interested in the study of law and hope to get a degree in this field to further my knowledge and comprehension of the legal system. Studying law has given me a firm foundation in my morale and principles. This has aided me in memorizing crucial instances and refining my skills in working under pressure while producing high-quality work. Throughout the semester, I was given a couple assignments that required me to write day by day, rather than all at once. Writing is not a task to be completed, but rather a process that must be followed in order to be successful. Many of the many assignments helped me enhance my rhetoric, critical thinking, drafting, and conventions skills. While some did not improve significantly, others did. The work is not perfect, but for a college freshman, it demonstrates that I am willing to put in the time and effort to become more than simply a freshman.
