Alright @markiplier and @therealjacksepticeye, I just realized the DD coords printed on my *super comf* Cloak hoodie and joggers pinpoint Honolulu, HI and Athlone, Ireland.  I had to look a few things up to learn the significance, and I appreciate how the two of you are putting yourselves into this clothing line and not just slappin’ your names on it and calling it good.  Your creativity truly exceeds expectations and I am lovin’ it!  :D

Thanks to irdkwia, in our discord channel, for bringing us more hidden stuff about Hamtaro games, this time it is Rainbow Rescue!

So the pics look a little weird placed so I apologize for that. Let’s start with them one by one:

At first, we have the rainbow map. That is a map located before the other rainbow maps in the introduction screen, before the title screen, they’re just hidden!

Next to it it’s a set of hidden maps in Clover Elementary, the A and B marked in the map are the exits which are blocked in the final release by a stapler and a hamster. They’re huge maps! But they don’t have any NPCs or events set, so we don’t know what they were aiming for them.

Irdkwia found a debug room too, that is the third pic, the Clubhouse. That Jingle there is an NPC that acts as the debugger (don’t ask me about tech stuff, I am just telling you what I was told!) and is a position tester. This room has a few things going on:

You always start between the 1 and 2 shown in the upper left.

There is nothing to be interacted with except the blank blackboard and TV.

The left exit (blue rug) doesn’t work, so you will just get out of the room.

The main exit (green rug) takes you to the world map, but before it asks you which chapter you completed, being 0 none and being 7 delivering all of Bo’s colors.

The numbers have interesting effects. In the japanese version the 0 will give you a random sticker; but in the European version it makes every sprite dissapear from screen and make the sound of moving up and down the sticker menu for a bit before returning the sprites and continue like nothing. The 1 apparently does nothing (or nothing traceable) and the 2 will take you to Ham-Ham Lawn, before giving an ingredient to Bo, but sometimes it doesn’t work.

Next, we have a rather scary picture of Bijou falling! It seems to be completely drawn so the event related to it was probably cancelled in late stages of development, because there’s no text associated. Patchi, another user of the discord channel, speculated it might be related to the bungee jump minigame in Sunny Peak.

The next pic is a little weird and we apologize for not translating it at the moment (it’s mainly character names). When you speak with the shop ham (which you can’t because you can’t cross the desk) you get a debug menu where you can choose who you have given an invitation for, or say you have given all invitations. You can also choose to watch the 2nd ending for whatever reason.

Finally, the last screenshot are of 5 unused items. We won’t be translating them right now either, sorry. They don’t have a translation in the european text, so we believe they were items built in early stages of the game development and were later cancelled, maybe related to some side-quests that didn’t make the final cut.

I hope you guys found all these pieces of trivia interesting! It just so happens that tomorrow is Bo’s birthday, so please take these as a pre-birthday treat :)
