I just got back from a weeklong visit to see my best friend in Minnesota, which was great. Other than that, not much at all!

oh dude that’s awesome! glad you had a good time and it’s always great to see to see your best friend! mine is currently in med school in the Philippines so i totally feel that. sucks when ur bffs live far away!

I’m enjoying MTV’s Scream and Lucifer a lot rn. 3. what you said as a child you wanted to be when you grew up: A paleontologist, then a virologist.   4. favorite flower? Lillies! 5. favorite US president? In terms of how they allign with my political ideals, Obama. In terms of political drama and intrigue, Nixon.  6. your dream pet: A Samoyed, definitely.  7. what instrument do you play or wish you played? I would love to be able to play the piano or the cello, but I don’t have the patience of the right temperament.  8. your go-to outfit: leggings or jeans and my grey Red Rock Canyon t-shirt.  9. favorite board game? Arkham Horror, it’s a game with a series of expansions based off the H.P. Lovecraft stories, and I loooooooooove it.  10. your worst injury: When I was in grade school I fell off the playground equipment  onto my shoulder and snapped my collarbone in half, and part of it wedged up in my throat and they had to use this weird harness thing to pull everything back into place again, bad times.  11. blue, green, or brown eyes? I’m not sure of the context. I prefer blue eyes on people, but I HAVE hazel eyes that kind of shift between green and brown and grey.

2. Is there any specific ritual you go through while/before/after your writing? Sort of? Firstly, I have to be alone - people around me distract me and I get paranoid they're going to try to peer at my computer. Most times my favorite time to write is late at night (12-3 a.m.) after I've taken a shower and I sit in the dark and listen to movie/tv soundtracks. During the day if I'm trying to write and nothing productive is happening, if I can spare the time, what I do is take a nap (30 mins to an hour) and then wake up and try again. It works a lot of times!7. Inspiration, time, or motivation. Choose two. Tough! Inspiration for sure — if I don't have any everything falls flat and I just stop. I'll pick motivation for my second, because if I have too much time I find I lose motivation (and not just with fic, with everything. It's bad lol).

Thank you darling, I’m truly flattered and I am of course very glad to be back! My life would just not be the same without tumblr, it may be a toxic pit at times, but overall, it’s still a lot of fun to be around (not to mention all the wonderful people here :D)

You’re absolutely right, don’t let let the negative feelings stop you from making your own stuff, the most important part is that you have fun with it, and that you enjoy sharing your art with other people. Everybody starts from zero on this site, I used to have an average of 5 notes on my first edits, if you keep doing what you’re doing, the recognition will eventually come :)

So long story short, hiddlesmcgiggles and I went to the same high school that Cory Michael Smith, who plays Edward Nygma on Gotham, went to and we sang in the same choir as him (not the same year though)
