What was THAT SCENE in Chemical?
In Chemical it was the scene where Tom walks Anja home and drops to his knees in front of her outside her house to sniff her. That scene comes close to the beginning of the story because (I know you’ve heard this a million times lol) it was only meant to be a 5-and-done shortfic. So as it ended up, his reason for sniffing her was entirely different than the original plan (since I ditched the werewolf plot and decided yeah no this guy just has a really sensitive nose)
Other than that specific scene I had an image in my head of long-haired tattooed Tom standing behind a bar, rolling his sleeves up with a towel slung over his shoulder, looking like a total badass while side-eyeing the one girl in the place who refused to look at him.
Five years later that badass sniffing the air suggestively is still giving me nudges of inspiration :)
