I know there are some posts like this in this tag, but honestly Sean changed my life!

I’ve always been kinda aware of this community. Sometimes when seananigans were happening I would dip into the tag and tbh be kinda confused with what was going on.

Then, a little over a year ago something changed. I honestly don’t know what or why. I went through a very rough patch in my mental health and Sean’s videos were just a constant thing to rely on, a daily escape from reality. The occasional mention of PMA was interesting but I never believed in people saying “just try your best and that will be enough”...

I missed most of mayhem because I still had no idea what this community was. The first series I seriously fell in love with was Detroit Become Human! Shortly after that Sean took his break in LA but I didn’t realise how big of a deal it was at the time.

When I started watching older videos and streams I came across one from january last year. He talked about how 2018 could only get better, how he had a different, positive mental attitude towards life in general and how he tried a keto diet but it wasn’t for him (I know weirdly specific but it stuck with me).

Over the year I caught up on Sean’s ‘story’ and recognised bits and pieces of things I was previously only vaguely aware of like him being the loudest Youtuber, his past green hair and ego lore! not that those are the only or most important things but they are/were essential to jacksepticeye™

In october I took 90 minutes out of my day to see jacksepticeyes live show comedy world tour. I laughed and cried and met some lovely strangers I wish I stayed in contact but I’m stupid like that

But most importantly I learned how genuine this guy is in person. The impact his positive mental attitude phrase had on me when he said it right then and there...something changed in me.

“So, what I want everyone to do is to go out there and to be the hero of your own story”

The final request made me cry like a baby! I had heard it before but coming from someone that had become such a huge inspiration over the last months quite literally knocked the breath out of me.

It took me the rest of last year to prepare myself to start a new chapter in my life. And Sean, although he might never know it, is one of the main reasons I found that little switch that needed to be turned!

Since the start of 2019 I have become more healthy mentally and physically than I’ve been in years (turns out keto is exactly the thing for me)

So coming back to the start, Sean was and continues to be a huge influence/inspiration in my last year.

Putting this in the queue bc fear of being perceived but Mirza thoughtsssss

His biggest fear is being forgotten, hence why he keeps a diary. Journaling is a hobby of Mirza's in every 'verse, actually, and in modern AU's he's got several journals and diaries for different topics

Collects jewelry and accessories :3 Mirza loves gold things especially and often over-accessorizes hehehe

^ he tends to overdress in general, mostly in modern AU's again. He's the type of guy to get all dressed up even for grocery shopping!

Mirza's gender identity is GNC transmasc, and his sexuality is gay <3

Another hobby of his is dancing, and he's very good at it uwu

Mirza prefers monochrome clothing, usually sticking with black, white, or muted/dark colours. I think any patterns in his outfits are more subtle. Anything that stands out is usually accessories

In modern AU's, I could see him being a fan of Marilyn Monroe tbh.... /p
