I just have this thought in my head that like, Abbie just refused to admit to herself that she liked Ichabod (as a friend or as more than a friend your choice) and then he drops the bomb on her that, oh btw, I have to die so the horseman dies, and just, that clip of her crying, I can't stop thinking like, she has one of those 'damn, I actually really care about this guy.' Moments and she's just totally heartbroken.

and Sören really sucks at it and literally does nothing right but his dad is both physically and psychologically abusive and it freaks him out so he's like safjfsfsgdd i have to dO WELL but he can't because he's not the hot shit he thinks he is so he makes up for it with this huge ass ego 

but in reality he's actually nothing like that. he grew up in 1920s poverty and had nothing for most of his life so this new ego of his is the greatest thing for him.
