I loved your artwork from the Voltron days and it really had me fall in love with Hunk and Pidge as a couple. They were the two who really clicked on the show for me, the ship is utterly adorable. Just wanted to say that since Hidge doesn’t get as much love anymore, I just really appreciated your fanart of them so much. 🫶🏼

As you can see, I (mostly) got the hang of digital art and sketching. I hope to finish these babies up (and hopefully make a comeback with Hidge artwork because the tag is DRY 😭, may do redraws or draw some fanfic scenes. My boys need content. 💚💛)

It’s plain to the naked eye.” “Because we’re smart?” Skylar propped himself up. “No, because you both have nasty personalities. Now, Elvis is a sweetheart. But you two are difficult.” “Ha!” Elvis stuck his tongue out at Skylar. “At least I’m not adopted,” the boy snorted. “Hey!” Elvis puffed out his cheeks. “Yeah, they just picked you up. In some den. Smugglers dumped you there.” Elvis’s eyes flashed, and he turned away toward the tree. “Either too tactful or not quite bright.” Slav rose noisily. “Now, Lotor would have known exactly how to hit back.” Slav stomped back to the table, continuing to muse aloud about Lotor’s advantages over this new, talentless generation. “Lotor? Please! Even Shiro could give you a run for your money!” the scientist shouted, squeezing into his chair at the table. “And he’s no genius himself, believe me.” “Elvis.” Alex nudged the boy’s shoulder. “I think it’s time to punish the owl. Don’t you?” He threw an arm around his cousin’s shoulders. “Insulting the Prince, that’s just…” Alex winked at Skylar. “He’s crossed all the lines.”

А? — он обнял кузена за плечи. — Оскорбить принца — это же… — Алекс подмигнул Скайлару. — Он перешёл все границы.

thinking about how Hunk was literally present in this scene but a choice was clearly made to have him not yelling at Pidge..

like there's scenes in the show where Hunk yells and gets mad but its NEVER directly at Pidge! (sometimes its just Hunk being mad at other things and ranting to Pidge)

Hunk has been stereotyped as a rough hot head character in some versions but in NO version of Voltron has he been inherently violent or rough with Pidge, he's clearly protective of him and just wants to bond with Pidge any chance he gets

I never watched The Amazing Digital Circus but its fandom made its own creator not wanting to touch the franchise again over shipping. This is the same situation with Voltron Legendary Defender fandom

Remember the cookie in needle incident? Or fans holding hostage potential spoilers if they didn't make a ship cannon?

Shows and shipping is fun but sometimes people take things way too fucking far.
