thinking about how Hunk was literally present in this scene but a choice was clearly made to have him not yelling at Pidge..

like there's scenes in the show where Hunk yells and gets mad but its NEVER directly at Pidge! (sometimes its just Hunk being mad at other things and ranting to Pidge)

Hunk has been stereotyped as a rough hot head character in some versions but in NO version of Voltron has he been inherently violent or rough with Pidge, he's clearly protective of him and just wants to bond with Pidge any chance he gets

So, something came up last night and I was led to wanting to draw a Voltron character with piercings. Well, VF Hunk was brought up and then someone showed me a beta design of him with tattoos on his arm. Yeah. So, this morning I had to draw a buff VF Hunk with piercings and tattoos, even the old slave tattoo from DotU but revamped (yes, the tattoo is larger than in DotU, but I like making it larger).

Yall have no idea how INSANELY proud i am of this piece, i drew a new background, some lighting, and cropped Hunk's mouth from another scene cause I cant draw mouths im sorry

this is half of a 2 part piece im working on, context wont be provided until the full piece is complete but for right now please enjoy my most favorite redraw like ever

This was like my first real voltron redraw and I redrew it like last year in october so here I am posting it on tumblr basically a year later, also still very proud of it and yes this was before I removed the logos and neck blocks from the uniforms

I'm tired af and need some words of encouredgement (can't spell) so here is a Hunk redraw! I will explain how he got the scar if anyone is interested! (love this shot of him!)

Context: In between being part of Voltron, Pidge would occasionally join Balto on their missions and while on one, he runs into Hunk, because Voltron got the alert for the mission as well. Balto's government at this point is in shambles solely because Chip isn't good at leading and is very aggressive with the Baltoans. This leaves Pidge to make a decision to leave the Voltron Force temporarily to help fix Balto, but that he means he has to leave Hunk. Hunk understands but is also very sad cause him and Pidge seperated once, he doesn't want to again (Dialogue up top happens) Pidge kisses Hunk and then leaves. (For 2 months, FYI)
