she was on a hunt . or was returning from one , judging by how her clothes && body were stained a crimson red . tongue flickered across her lips , catching dried flakes of blood , a mere clean up really as she scanned the area . was there anything else she could hunt ?? head would lift , scenting the air for any prey , only to pause in confusion ; there was something strange . it smelled like death . like the death that clung on the oni from back then . but not as murky , not as dense , not as tainted ; but it was still death . dangerous , her senses screamed but curiosity overcame that fear , that apprehension . she would search for the death .

He hadn’t spoken to Kikyō that much over the course of a few hours. Not because he was angry at her. Virote would NEVER be angry at her! However, he was absorbed in his own work. Weaving baskets for the hell of it and learning how to paint without ALL his modern tools ( which proved to be an anxiety inducing task. being out of his element, artistically, was a nightmare. ) Sure, he had a few of his brushes crammed into his backpack. Didn’t erase the fact that he wanted… Well, more. He’d Google how to create brushes… If Google existed.
After hanging it up for the day, he plopped down beside her, obviously tired.

i’ve honestly kind of had for years since this series came out? accepted that yu will die. i’m …awful but i just. he’s my favorite from his canon and i really…i mean if he gets joy like he deserves i might even shed a tear honestly and i don’t cry much. i hope i’m /wrong/ and you’re right!
unfortunately , i’m like 95% certain yu is going to end up dying by the end of the series . even if he doesn’t die , he’s been feeding his humanity to the namanari , as well as the seraph . basically , he’s trading his entire life for the happiness &. safety of his family . the only people that can stop him from being reckless are encouraging him to continue . their own motivations are not wicked ; they want to save what’s left of humanity / fix their past mistakes / etc.
but it’s still unfair to yu ! &. this is why i’m going to be mad at the end of the series when the one character that deserves a good ending instead get’s the short end of the stick . . . i’m just gonna go &. smother myself in a pillow now . alskdjfa . @higekishojo

he let’s out a huff when his hair whips back and forth from the wind, but he’s pretty quickly subdued when Kikyou kisses him. Inuyasha leans in to the kiss, the frown he was carrying dropping almost instantly.
the last kiss stops him in his trails -- he’s left standing by the door in thought until Kikyou beckons him inside. ❛ oh, uh, yeah... I’m coming in. ❜ and he does, only to wrap his arms around her from behind the first chance he gets. ❛ you. ❜ there’s a pause, ❛ I obviously love you the most. ❜
