i’ve been thinking about Lucius and Edea again because of course i have and spoilers for #113 but something happened this episode that i kind of love because of how sad and dramatic it is

what i mean is early on in the campaign it was obvious that Lucius was not a fan of his sister, him and Edea did not get along and despite being relieved when he found out he’s wasn’t the last Elenasto and his sister was still alive he clearly was still avoiding her as seen when he arrived back to Gusthaven and attempted to avoid her. (which obviously didn’t work since she turned up at the palace and Aridan “introduced” her to them, still funny)

but then!! on sunday even though Lucius was already pissed off, the plan wasn’t going well and they were under attack, the FINAL straw for him and narratively what snapped him out of his paralysis was hearing and seeing his twin sister seriously hurt. that was the moment he let his anger take over.

Lucius went from avoiding Edea and not really getting along with her to getting fiercely protective by putting himself infront of her to protect her and becoming properly quite angry at seeing her badly hurt and i love that

can we just all take a moment to appreciate katie for being the only member of high rollers who hasn’t had any of her main campaign or mini series characters die (as of this post being made lol). a true queen

remember back in lightfall times when everyone was so horrible to kim for absolutely no reason and they would always be horrible about her roleplaying i just want to say go fuck yourselves if you thought that. kim richards is amazing at roleplay she kills it with every character her commitment to story is gripping and so entertaining to watch suck my dick if you hate kim no kim hate here alright stay far away
