I wish there was a time when I actually liked the non-diamond option for something, whether it be outfits, hairstyles or even just decorations. They are always so bland and boring and just ruins a lot of the experience. It would make playing some stories more enjoyable and more memorable, if you didn’t have to throw diamonds at every chapter just to have a good experience or even just make your character nice looking.
I get that they have to make a profit and I’m generally okay to pay diamonds for some options like spending time with an LI, but it sometimes just drains the fun out for the story. My favourite stories are the ones I have poured diamonds into and that’s sad because I think of how many stories I might have missed out on. I recently played Open Heart again. The first time I played it I didn’t like it, and I didn’t understand why everything made a fuss about it. But this time I loved it because I paid for some of the diamond options and it changed the story completely for me.
Everyone says this but I really wish there were less diamond options but the quality of the story was still good. Or at least make them cheaper, like imagine how many more people would play and enjoy the stories if outfits were only 15 diamonds or a scene with an LI was only 10 diamonds. If Pixelberry made these options cheaper so many more people would play and they could possibly earn even more profit. Or if that’s not an option at the very least make some premium scenes longer. I hate it when I spend diamonds on an option and there’s like six slides of dialogue. I feel like there’s so many options that could improve the experience for eveyone.
I apologise for the rant but these are just thoughts I had to get off my mind. Don’t get me wrong, I love choices, I’ve played it for 3 years now. I’ve fallen in love the characters, the stories and the worlds pb creates. I can handle the diamonds, I’ve paid way too much for them over my time playing and I’m always happy to support pixelberry and choices. I just wish that things were just a little bit different sometimes.
