Even Immortal Desires, which I thought would most definitely be my cup of tea... Wasn't. Gabriel is a sweetheart, but we needed to SEE the pain he went through, not read a summary of what happened like those free scenes in RC. 🙄
But Cas? God, where do I start... The sprite had me in such a chokehold the moment I laid eyes on him but unless he's the villain; I'm not into the whole "humans are bloodbags" attitude. And the poor girl who died at the beginning of the book? MC gets over that quicker than anticipated. Why is MC so special to Cas? What made MC not put himself in the girl's shoes? She died for nothing. And Cas so blatantly says humans are two types, townies and strangers. They haven't revisited that attitude so far.
I'll wait till I finish it to make a final judgement but seriously; Bloodbound can wipe the floor with Immortal Desires. Whoever made that meme for it being the cooler book needs to check their taste. Sorry not sorry. Tho not gonna lie, I love the idea of different vampires types in the PB lore.
