A/N: ANother group that needs ALL THE LOVE AND ATTENTION IN THE WORLD.
Alex:
Drama sucks. And somehow you were always stuck in the middle. You were always some sort of mitigator for your friends, and they never took into account your feelings at that moment. Two of your friends had gotten into a huge fight and dragged you right into it. You came home to your shared apartment and slammed the door incredibly irritated. When Alex noticed he just picked you up and held you. He then spent the entire night singing to you and stroking your face in order to calm you down.
Myunghan:
Even though we all know he’s like a huge cheeky shit, he’s gonna be super adorable. He saw you sitting down at your desk aggressively running your hands through your hair and groaning. He looked and saw the huge bags under your eyes, and he just frowned. Lucky for you he brought a bunch of food since it was your special movie night. He dragged you up from your desk and placed you on the couch, adamant that you would not move from that spot at all for the next 4 hours.
Youngjun:
Aegyo king is trying to be super duper cutesy for you after he saw your tears. You had some sort of mix up in your class and the teacher handed you back the wrong test. Come to find out you definitely didn’t have the grade you thought, and the teacher made a big deal about how bad it was. You came home incredibly upset and Youngjun tried his Aegyo on you but when that didn’t work he just swung you into bed and cuddled you.
Former Member-
Sunggu:
He suddenly had this big instinct to do everything in his power to take care of you. You bit off far more than you could chew and ended up taking way more classes than you could physically. You were getting little sleep and constantly studying. One day Sunggu walked in and found you in shambles. Your apartment was a mess, your eyes were bloodshot, and there were empty energy drink cans everywhere. He stopped you from studying and then helped clean up. He then decided to cook you a homecooked meal and make you watch your favorite movie.

'[Y/N]...' Myunghan whispered as he leaned over you. '[Y/N].' When there was still no response, he stood up straight. Noticing a pillow at the end of your feet, he took it to throw it at your chest. '[Y/N]!'
He missed his target and the pillow hit you straight in the face, quickly awakening you. Your hands scrambled to remove whatever it was that had just essentially attacked you, knocking the pillow off you.
'What the f--' you noticed the shadow that had formed over you and you looked up. Hastily, you moved from you laying position to sit on the sofa you were taking a nap on. 'Was that really necessary?!'
'Sleeping on the job, are we?' Myunghan raised an eyebrow, smirking and placing his hands on his pockets. 'Your manager won't be very happy.'
'I am the manager. And I'm on my lunch break.'
'And you choose the studio to sleep in? Is the staff room too crowded?' he sat next to you, but he was quick to keep scooting towards you the more you moved along the sofa, until you reached the end.
'Actually, it is—Myunghan, can you, can you please just move over a bit?'
'Why? Am I making you feel uncomfortable?' he reached his arm around to make it rest on the back of the sofa, also leaning his head back. But before you could let him move the same arm over your shoulder, you stood up laughing nervously.
'I just like my own space. What time is it?' you frantically looked around the room to look for a clock somewhere, but really you just wanted to divert your eyes away from him.
'I like you in my space,' Myunghan sighed, licking his lips.
'What?' you turned, glaring at him. Surprised by your reaction, he bit his lower lip and chuckled.
'You're so easy to tease,' he stood up. 'And it's actually fun, too.'
'What are you talking about? Seriously, what time is it?' You looked around for your phone, seeing that it was beside Myunghan on a table. You silently gulped, not wanting to get any closer to him. You rubbed your sweaty hands on your jeans, cautiously approaching your phone. However, Myunghan turned to look to see what you were looking at, and got a hold of your phone before you could.
'Do you need this, princess?'
'I already told you to stop calling me that.' You dipped your hand to get your phone, which Myunghan was still holding onto, but dodged you.
'You like it, really,' he moved his hand quickly enough again the second time you tried to get your phone.
'I need to get back to work, give me my phone!' Now, instead of reaching for your phone, you grabbed onto the wrist of the hand your phone was one, keeping his hand still. But you were not strong enough to keep Myunghan from straightening his arm up towards the ceiling, pulling your arm along with it. You found yourself on your tiptoes, refusing to let go of him.
‘Just give me my phone!’ you insisted.
‘Then just ask nicely.’
You scoffed. ‘Why should I?’ You jumped to see if you could get to your phone, but failed.
‘Because I want to hear you beg.’
You scoffed. ‘You wish.’
‘Oh, I do.’
Myunghan began to move backwards, making you follow him. He walked until he reached a wall. You continued to stretch your body as far as you could, getting on the tip of your toes and feeling your fingertips scraping against his wrist. Myunghan would look at you as your face came closer and closer to his, decreasing the gap between you both. To balance yourself, you placed a hand beside his body, effectively trapping him between the wall and your body. As you were still focused on the phone in his hand, you didn’t pay much attention to Myunghan’s lips slowly descending to yours.
‘Ha!’ you snatched the phone off his hand, startling Myunghan. He instantly pulled his face back as you unlatched yourself from his body, his breath becoming somewhat choppy.
You pressed the unlock button on your phone to reveal the time. ‘Damn it,’ you say through gritted teeth. ‘God, you’re so annoying sometimes.’
For the first time that day, Myunghan was actually speechless. He wanted to stop you to apologise, but you were clearly far too irritated, and he did not want to make things worse. Before he knew it, you were already out the door as he remained glued in the same spot you had left him.
With you, Myunghan only found himself acting in two extremes: either constantly pressing your buttons and pushing you over the line, or being sweet and thoughtful, whether it be smiling every time he sees you or by leaving you lunch with a sticky note attached on your desk. These considerate gestures were the only ones he would do when he first met you after introducing yourself as High4’s manager’s junior assistant. Your job was to keep an eye on High4 during their promotional activities, come it be that their manager couldn’t be there personally. But you also oversaw all other junior assistants, and so if you were not accompanying High4, you were stuck behind your desk, overseeing schedules for the other assistants to follow. In spending so much time with High4 you attempted to stay as professional as possible, and tried to do so even when you found yourself developing feelings for the one particular member. It started off when Myunghan would send you good morning text messages, stating that he couldn’t wait to see you that day. His friendliness would continue once you were with him, and, for some reason, the way he said your name would cause your heart to flutter and send you into a fit of giggles. You would cough and clear your throat to conceal the effect he had on you, and you would continue as if nothing had happened.
But Myunghan was not stupid; he could sense your nervousness from kilometres away, he noted how you stuttered every time he spoke to you and how you’d try to avoid him completely. But from a distance, when you weren’t as jittery, he witnessed how much of hard-worker you were, making sure that every task was completed to the best possible quality, and that everyone around you was happy. Your desire for other’s happiness is what attracted Myunghan to you, and he also found himself falling for you. The confirmation that Myunghan did in fact have feelings for you was when you had arrived to his dorm room after he had become ill in the middle of the night, and Sunggu called you in the early hours of the morning panicking. Rushing as soon as you could, you got there to find out that Myunghan only had a cold. Yes, you sighed frustratingly that Sunggu as he essentially made a big deal of the situation as if someone was in the middle of a cardiac arrest, but you didn’t leave until Myunghan had taken the proper medication and was once again asleep. Myunghan thanked you a million times as you told him that this was your job anyway, and were more than happy to do it.
Your method of masking your feelings for him was avoiding Myunghan completely, however Myunghan liked to tease you about it. He already knew that you liked him, as you didn’t really need to confess so, and so set up situations so that you were able to crack and give in to some of his advances, much like how he did with your phone. But you didn’t seem to give in; it’s not you blatantly refused to admit your feelings, it’s just that you had other responsibilities and did not want to create blurred lines between your relationship with Myunghan. So while he teased you, unknown to you that he knew about your feelings, you didn’t understand why he would irritate you, and showed your frustration every time he did so. Maybe Myunghan’s tactics weren’t as effective as he had believed they were.
You practically stormed your way back to your desk, thumping yourself down on your chair and huffing. Trying to distract yourself from what had just happened, you reshuffled papers around your desk, straightening up your keyboard and mouse, as well as other things. Eventually you groaned to yourself, holding your head in your hands.
‘Why does he do this to me?’ you said inwardly.
‘Who does what to you?’ Yujin peaked over your divider. You were spooked by her sudden question, almost jumping from your seat.
‘Jesus, Yujin, you scared me!’ you exclaimed, feeling your heart beat in a rapid pace.
‘Someone’s got you shook,’ she rolled over to your desk in her chair, unpeeling a banana. ‘What did Myunghan do now?’
‘You said anything about Myunghan?’
‘Please, it’s all over your face. It’s quite amusing how you haven’t told him about your feelings yet,’ she took the biggest bite possible out of the banana. ‘Or that he hasn’t said anything to you.’
That last part you didn’t quite understand due to Yujin’s full mouth of her fruit.
‘What?’ you furrowed your eyebrows.
‘I said,’ she swallowed hard, ‘he hasn’t said anything to you either, which amazes me.’
‘What?’
‘Do you have trouble hearing?’
‘No, I have trouble believing what you’re saying.’
‘Oh, come on,’ Yujin looked around your desk, finding what she was looking for. ‘What about this, ‘I hope you eat well’, smiley face, two hearts?’
Yujin was referring to the note left on a sandwich you found on your desk two days ago.
‘He was just being nice,’ you dismissed it.
‘What about this, ‘Don’t break my heart by getting a boyfriend’, sad face, winking face, about seventeen hearts? He left you this on White Day with chocolates. The dude likes you.’
You looked up, trying to find an excuse. ‘He left them here by mistake?’
‘[Y/N]!’
‘If he likes me so much, why does he act like such an asshole? I’d be easier to believe that he actually doesn’t like me.’
‘Because guys are idiots. They don’t know what to do with their feelings when they actually have them, especially towards another woman. Maybe that’s his special way of showing that he likes you,’ Yujin used air quotes when she said the word ‘special’.
‘Well, his special way,’ you imitated her air quotes, ‘doesn’t work with me. I may like him but not when he acts like an asshole.’
‘That’s fair enough… then tell him.’
You glared at her. ‘Hell no!’
‘Why not? Every time I ask you what’s wrong, it’s always ‘Myunghan’s teasing me,’ ‘Myunghan tripped me up,’ ‘Myunghan locked me in the bathroom’. Actually, he does sound quite annoying…’
‘See?’
‘But I don’t want to see you come here again like you just did. Talk to him, get this over with!’
‘I’d rather walk on broken glass.’
‘Seeing you like this is more painful than broken glass. Sort this out or I will.’
You narrowed your eyes. ‘You wouldn’t.’
Yujin raised an eyebrow. ‘You know I would.’
‘Okay, fine! Later...’
‘[Y/N]…’
‘I will! God, you sound like my mother.’
‘Excuse me, last time I checked, I was younger than you.’
‘By two days.’
‘Still younger.’
You rolled your eyes as Yujin rolled back to her cubicle.
Work went by and so did the hours, and you tried your best to keep your head down and focused on the task at hand. Yujin's demand that you talk to Myunghan still lingered on your mind, but you quickly discarded it every time it resurfaced, telling yourself to focus on what was more important.
During this whole time you only raised your head once, the say goodbye to Yujin who said was going home, and she took the opportunity to remind you of what she said earlier. You reassured her that yes, you would talk to Myunghan, and even that your exhibit of today won't happen again. As long as you're finally at ease, Yujin said, that's all she cared about. But you wouldn't be at ease if you didn't talk to Myunghan, which was exactly what you trying to avoid.
All until...
'[Y/N],' you heard your name being called.
You finished typing your sentence before looking up. 'Yeah?'
You saw Myunghan resting his arms on to your cubicle divider and you sighed. 'You're not here to take away my phone again, are you?'
'Why would I do that?' Myunghan smiled, but you didn't respond, and instead resumed to the document you were writing up.
'Look, [Y/N]—'
'Myunghan, if you're here to annoy me again, I hope you don't mind but I'm kind of—'
'I'm sorry.'
You fell silent, pursing your lip. 'Ah. Okay, well, apology accepted, thank you. Now, if you don't mind...'
'No, wait, I wanna make it up to you.'
'Myunghan, I'm busy.'
'What time is it?'
You held your phone, unlocking it. 'It's a few minutes after nine p.m., why?'
'How come you're still here?'
'I could ask you the same.'
'I wanted to make sure everyone was gone until I... you know...'
'No, I don't.'
'Let me take you out to dinner. Tonight.'
'I did just say I was busy, didn't I?'
'Still.' Myunghan looked at the empty seat in the cubicle next to yours, sitting on it and scooting towards you. 'It's Friday night, you don't want to spend it here, do you?'
'I actually don't, but I need to write up your schedule for next week.'
'It can wait. Please, [Y/N]...' Myunghan stopped you from writing, holding your left hand. 'I won't annoy you, I'm just trying to make it up for you.'
Attentively, you looked at the hand that Myunghan caressed with his, feeling them start to perspire.
'Uh...' you stuttered. 'I really appreciate the invite—'
'So let's go.'
'But I need to talk to you.'
'We can talk over dinner, let's go.'
Myunghan reached for the mouse to save the document you had opened, and then closed all the remaining windows, all done quickly to shut down your computer. On the floor beside you, he saw your bag and coat, picking it up for you. His fast pace surprised you.
'In a rush, are we?'
Myunghan laughed nervously. 'I'm just really sorry.'
'You've said that.'
Myunghan tutted. 'Come on!'
'Alright, I’m already coming, you don’t have to rush me.’
‘Well, I’m in a rush.’
‘For what—‘ before you could finish your sentence, Myunghan practically yanked you off your seat and out of the office, into the lift and to the streets.

“Well I’ll see you later,” Young Jun told you before he hung up the phone call. He was nervous for later actually.
He wanted later to come but at the same time didn’t.
“Hurry up Young Jun its cold and I’m hungry,” Myung han whined to the maknae that wasn’t prepared for what he was planning.
“Stop complaining short stack.” He fired back, he was in no mood since his nerves were already getting the best of him.
“Short stack? Where’s the respect for your hyung?”
“You look 12,” Sung Su said trying to defend Young jun.
“You look 59.”
“Okay okay, let’s just go get whatever he was going to get so stop fighting,” Alex interrupted the teasing.
“Oh what are you going to buy sweet maknae?” Myung han asked while hanging onto Alex’s neck plying for a piggy back ride.
“Myung han what are you doing to me?!” He questioned at him.
“You’ll see..” Young Jun ignored his hyungs rushing to get out of the cold winter air.
As soon as he stopped at the store he got nervous. There were so many couples and middle aged ladies in the store. Going in with a group of four loud boys would bring too much attention, but its too late now.
“Young Jun what are we doing at a Jewelry store?” Alex asked with a small man on his back. “I’m proposing to Y/n.”
“Holy crap, do you know what that means?” Myung han said with a surprised look on his face. “What?”
“Sung Gu is already a middle aged man and he’s still single.”
“Alex take him off your back or else I’ll hurt you too.”
Not even a second later Myung Han was on the sidewalk getting stares bu the people walking by.“I brought you guys here for a reason,”
“I want your guys advice,”
“Don’t marry, you’re way too young. Learn like your hyung now. Wait until you’re at least 40 to even consider it.”
“Myung han Young Jun really doesn’t need your crap right now,"Alex yelled at him crouching down to his level.
"He’s willing to take the sacrifice of his career and the rest of his youth for a thought. But if he’s come this far into it than he wants to do it."How was that supposed to help Young Jun? He was already nervous and doubting if he would even do it.
Sure he’s always done saving for this reason. He’s always kept a jar filled with change since he was little just to save money to but the best ring for his wife, but now he wasn’t sure of anything.
"Hey Young Jun! Where’re you going?” Sung Gu yelled before he could walk away. “For a walk. Go home.”
He had no idea where he was going. He just let his own legs and brain control the direction of his destination. Throughout the trip his mind never left the thought of getting married with Y/n would be like. Would they always be happy? Would she want kids? Would they fight? Would they divorce? Would they have to share the pet dog for the holidays?
Damn it Myung Han you always confuse me.
After a little bit more of walking he found himself in front of Y/n’s condo.
“Young Jun?” He heard his name come from somewhere next to him. He turned around quickly to see Y/n standing there, smiling at him.
Seeing her, feeling her presence made his future clear again. He didn’t care about the future. He just cared as long as she was next to him.
Still smiling you looked forward to see your boyfriend run the few meters that separated you two, “I thought we were going to meet later,”
Right after those words left your mouth he hugged you tight. It felt nice being in between his arms. You could feel his heart beat since you snuggled your head against his heart. The warmth and love was a nice change from the cold wind that was hitting you.

The pressure to suddenly take a photo felt to high.
Your professor at your university just made what you loved most into a challenge.
‘Take a picture of the flora and fauna he said. But make sure it was 32x32 and had no interactions with the outside world. Make sure there was only one background It’ll be easy he said’
Well with the amount of rules piled on the assignment the easiest thing to do would be quit college and set flames to his rule book.
But you’re a good girl or something like that.
Choosing the park was the most obvious and convenient place for you to go. Unlike everyone else you didn’t have the time to go to Jeju island or to Busan even.
Staying in Seoul was quite literally the only choose you had.
Settling in a bench you decided to go to work.
It was hard to choose between the delivery man or the ducks.
Shocker you choose the ducks honestly, getting closer to the little lake they had in middle of the park you settled yourself again on a bench.
Snapping a few dozen pictures of boring duck picture wouldn’t settle.
After a while you gave up. The ducks were doing nothing. Floating barely. Were they dead?
Suddenly they started to move towards you. As if trying to attack you. You jumped on top of the bench and left your expensive camera drop onto the wet grass.
All the quacking and fluttering of feathers covered up the laughing coming from the stranger that caused it to happen.
Slowly opening one of your eyes you realized they just stopped right in front of you and were just picking up good that someone was so evil to drop right in front of you.
“Are you crazy?” You screamed at him realizing that you had a bad phobia of ducks.
“Tad bit,” He giggled out while throwing out more bread crumbs he had in a bag.
You just stayed silent trying to catch your breath. Was he crazy? Tad bit.
Were you pissed? Tad bit.
Were you regretting not taking a picture of the ducks while they were coming towards you? A tad bit.
“You’re not supposed to feed the ducks..” You mumbled out just standing there like an idiot.
“And you’re not supposed to be taking pictures of the ducks without a permit.”
“Since when?” You fought back. That wasn’t a rule, well at least one you knee about.
“Maybe it is?” He smiled out again. Focusing on the ducks making sure everyone had food.
“Want to help me?” He pushed the bag that was already half empty towards me.
“Fine….” You grabbed it joined him even though it was frightening for you.
As soon as you dropped the few crumbs they all crowded around you quickly. You screamed out dropping the whole bag and jumping into something.
Sure enough you jumped into a pair of arms. You looked up to his face just to see a face mixed between cocky, laughing, and embarrassment.
“Let go of me…” You mumbled looking towards the ground.
Instead of being put onto solid ground you were carried away. You didn’t really fight considering you were in public in broad daylight and you were too scared from the ducks.
“What’s ice cream is your favorite?” He asked while still carrying you.
“I’m not picky,”
“Well neither am I, can I have two chocolate please?” The sudden question brought you to look up quickly. An ice cream vendor….that’s… nice.
“Thanks,” You grabbed the cone from his hand and brought it to your mouth.
“Why’d you jump off? I still have my back,” he smiled at you while bending over.
“You’re pretty weird you know that?” You said in your normal voice. Taking a lick of your ice cream trying your best to not get any of his hair.
“A lot of people say that I’m pretty evil,” he smiled while taking a bite of his.

Alex is finally going to visit you.
He’s coming to America for a vacation he got for a week and you were so excited yo finally see his face in real life.
Having an online relationship was hard when the only thing you could do was face time and text, never calls because international calls were expensive.
Sometimes he’d be cute and send you a cute letter through the mail. Actually having the paper and opening the envelope was much better than reading his feelings off a glass screen that could easily be broken.
With the soft line paper you felt closer to him. With his sloppy letters you could always tell he was in a hurry, which didn’t help with the longing of having him next to you.
But now, now you were finally going to see him in person. The whole news was surprising and you thought he was just joking when he said he did in text. But seeing it in the letter with him saying how much he’d waited to hug you confirmed that it was no joke.
The beeping of your phone made you quickly unlock it to see that Alex sent a picture of the airplane window from inside(noooo me digas).
He had a caption too:
Your turn next ;)
He took his first four days with his parents in New York and he was going to pay for an extra ticket to California just to see you. The excitement bubbled inside you all over again. It was just a winking emoji but still it got you flushed and he knew exactly that’s what happened to you when he sent that emoji to you.
Jumping off your bed your opened up your closet to find the most suitable thing for you to wear.
Settling on to not going over the top you just settled for tight jeans, a loose top, and a pair of black knee high boots since it was windy outside. Its California. There is no winter.
Grabbing the only thing that looked close to a jacket you threw it on locking the door. The airport was a long drive and you spent more than three hours on getting ready which wasn’t like you at all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You just barely made it in time. The traffic in LAX was killing everyone.
You stood there with a sucky sign that said ‘Alex’ that you made really quick trying to be tacky but cute at the same time. One may have won the other.
Looking at the board you noticed it said that the plane that Alex was on already landed. Your heart really did start to beat now. Worse than on your way here when you were practicing your lines.
‘How was your flight?’
'Was Korea really cold?’
'Is your family alright with you spending Christmas with a girl he’s never met before and not with them?’
Okay. Maybe saying the last one would be a really bad idea.
Soon enough you saw several people walk past and suddenly you turned shy.
Covering your face with the sign made out of cheap paper made it easier for you to wait there for him.
A few minutes passed by with you rocking yourself back and forth before you heard footsteps and wheels head towards you on the floor.
Then it stopped. But in its place was laughing.
“What are you doing?” Alex laughed pulling down the sign to see your face. You couldn’t take it anymore.
Even though he was less than a foot away you threw yourself into his arms. Letting go of everything too he hugged you back too.
“I’m so happy….” You whispered right into his ear just to make sure he was the only one to hear that. A small tear went past your cheek and you couldn’t help but dig yourself into his shoulder.
“Me too.” He smiled pulling you back to leave a sweet soft kiss on your forehead.
Was it short? ’-’ Well it is fluff from me. ’-’ Masterlist
Author’s Note: I really can’t think of a good title sorry. I promised something special for hitting 50 followers, and I am sorry it took so long. So, a Younggu fluff for you. It is very bad because I have actually never really wrote anything before so please be gentle. I hope we can continue to stay amazing High5s together forever!
Youngjun walked swiftly, huddled within himself, towards the meeting place that Sunggu had given him. Once he
reached the coffee shop they often frequented, he found Sunggu exiting holding two cups in hand. It was obvious that
Sunggu had been in the foyer, patiently awaiting his band mate's arrival. The older of the two hastily handed the
other one of the cups that he had been holding onto.
"What took you so long? Your drink has almost gone cold", Sunggu stated before taking a drink of the cup he
had for himself. "Don't you know how cold it is? You shouldn't make your Hyung wait this long in such conditions when
he calls for you."
Youngjun snorted almost spitting out the coffee he had just taken a sip of and eyed Sunggu with an incredulous
look. "Oh no, how could I? Walking all the way here in the cold was nothing compared to the struggles of our leader
Kim Sunggu, who had to sit in the heated coffee shop waiting for me to arrive."
Sunggu's lips turned up into a smirk briefly before falling into a full smile. He looked at Youngjun and
outstretched his finger in a way that told the taller male to follow him. Without waiting for any acknowledgement he
turned on his heel and started walking in the opposite direction of their dorm.
Youngjun watched Sunggu walk only momentarily before he started to follow, quickly falling into step beside
him. He glanced at Sunggu, curious as to where he was being lead, but didn't say anthing and continued to walk with
him in silence. Youngjun knew Sunggu well enough to know that since he hadn't already divulged his plans then he could
count out the possibility of getting any details about where they were going.
Sunggu noticed Youngjun glancing his way and could barely contain his composure as he tried to keep any over
excitement from showing on his face. He instead distracted himself by asking Youngjun, "Did any chores get done while
I was away?", anticipating the rise he was hoping to receive from his dongsaeng.
"Actually, we finally moved all those boxes you've been nagging us about.", Youngjun affirmed casually as he
took another drink from his cup. He grimaced at the beverage, Sunggu may had been exaggerating about the hardship of
his wait but he had been correct about the temperature of the coffee he had presented to him. Youngjun shook off the
discontent of his taste buds and smirked to himself as he shot another look towards Sunggu. He knew very well that
Sunggu loved to get him heated up about things and had been working hard on turning the tables on the leader.
Sunggu was torn between disappointment at the lack of response and delight at the news that something had
actually been accomplished. The older male was trying to think of something else he could say to evoke Youngjun but
decided to hold off as they were nearing their destination. "We are almost there. Close your eyes", he said while
stepping behind Youngjun and grabbing his shoulders and giving him a slight push to begin leading him the rest of the
way.
Youngjun obliged but not before noticing that they appeared to be close to the park nearest to their dorm.
Curious about what could be near the area that was such a big deal, Youngjun momentarily tensed up, a slight flutter
in his chest, at the feel of Sunggu's hands on either side of him. He relaxed almost instantly and allowed himself to
be led, occasionally peaking through his eyelashes to get any more clues about what was to come.
As they walked down the sidewalk seeing by the street lamps draped in Christmas lights, Sunggu made sure to
talk and laugh with his company as to make sure things were not awkward when the moment arrived. He would sometimes
move his hand to the small of Youngjun's back to give him a little push, too excited to show off the surprise he had
for his friend. Finally, making a turn into the park that Youngjun had noticed earlier. Sunggu informed his
companion,"Just a little further, anticipate something great. And, no peaking."
Youngjun was just about to give another peak when he felt Sunggu's hands move from his shoulders just to wrap
around and cover his eyes. A small sigh escaped his lips as he was growing tired and had already long been numb from
the cold. However he remained as upbeat as he could manage because he could sense the joy that Sunggu was radiating,
and had to admit that it was infectious in a way that shouldn't be possible. "Hurry, Hyung. It's so cold. What could
be this exciting?"
Sunggu let out a deep laugh and finally stopped and lifted his hands from the younger male's eyes. Youngjun
looked up to see that they stood in the center of the small park and in front of them the tallest Christmas tree he
had ever seen was lit up with what had to have been thousands of lights. At first, he was confused but when he turned
to Sunggu and saw the smile in his eyes, he couldn't help but feel a tightening sensation in his chest that was
similar to what he felt when Sunggu began leading him earlier.
"This is amazing but why was it so necessary to see tonight"
"Look closely."
Youngjun stepped closer to see, almost comically, a small box gift wrapped underneath the enormous tree. He
walked the rest of the way and picked up the gift that fit neatly in the palm of his hand. Youngjun slowly unwrapped
the present, careful not to damage the paper even though it was meant to be ripped. He opened the box to find just a
piece of paper. He unfolded it and read the neatly written note.
'Youngjun,
We have been together for a long time and I cherish every moment we've shared. We always say that we
wish to continue together for a long time with the others. But I also want you and I to continue on a shared path
that is just our own. I hope that you can see my feelings in this, and can one day return them.
I love you,
Kim Sung Gu'
Youngjun turned around after reading the letter to be swiftly wrapped up by the arms of his closest friend,
and returned the embrace, holding tighter to Sunggu as to tell him that he will be with him as long as he would like.
Sunggu leaned up to Youngjun's ear and whispered, "I know it's early but Merry Christmas"
