"I-I--" She swallowed, rubbing her eyes. "I was tryin' ta do m-my j-job. I was tryin' ta purify a lake and I got attacked." She looked nervously around. "There were so many of them. So... So many. There was somethin' wrong with them they were too strong." She stopped talking, her bottom lip trembling. "I'm so glad you're here, I'm so scared."

It had been harder to get away this time. They were using different pokemon, mutated, unnatural pokemon. She had gotten away, but not unscathed. The girl sat deep in a cave, trying to stay hidden. 

When she heard footsteps approaching, she grabbed a nearby stone, but it dropped from her hand as she recognized a voice. "H-Ho-oh? I-Is that you?"
