Hogfather is definitely one of the best Discworld books, and a great Christmas story.

I’m enjoying it so far but I’m only about fifty pages in so I’m waiting for it to really hit me as great Christmas stuff.

To your credit, I ALWAYS think flagpoles should be spears.

Like no I think it could be really awesome. Her weapon would be just a wrapped spear with the edge poking out.

Haha, idk, I think that’s a bit more cynical than I would like to be. There is defs. A LOT of sadness porn in fandom culture, though. I guess it’s to feed “the feels,” so that you increase the emotional depth of a connection w/ a character.

Or maybe some people just like crying about stuff! I probably should, I certainly do it a lot.

least favourite: m/ettaton ex lmao... i dont hate him but thats one overrated character. i like him as a calculator-shaped robot? i also dont really care abt asgore
