Shoutout to American goalkeeper Ethan Horvath, who had a great game against Zenit St. Petersburg today. Apart from the unlucky ricochet off Lovren’s shot, he didn’t a put a foot wrong. Great seeing the squad rally around him afterwards. He was in tears after the win because he thought he cost them a goal, such are the standards he sets for himself. Looking forward to seeing him again this season. 👏🏾👏🏾

Enough is enough.

I just left the hospital where some of the victims from yesterday’s school shooting in Colorado are currently being treated.

I sobbed in my car. My heart is broken for these kids and their families.

I’m beyond angry that this keeps happening in our country.

We have to do better.

We need gun reform. We need it now.

We had a school shooting yesterday that left a student killed in my community. Kendrick Castillo is a hero who saved many lives.

I grew up here, I went to school in this district, and it’s so painful. The organization I’m a chair of will be hosting a blood drive and a letter-writing campaign to our representatives to plea for children’s safety. We will reach out to the Castillo family once the time is right to honor their son’s memory.

Keep us in your thoughts. If you can, take action to work towards change.

There are some rumours going around that the unnamed shooter at highlands ranch school is a transman. In addition the first named shooter, Devon Erickson, has been noted to have said antichristian and lgbt supportive messages online.

Please don't take any anger you have out on the lgbt community despite the possible connection to the shooters. Even if this does end up being true please remember that lgbt people across the world are mourning with you and even could be in risk of more threats right now due to this so please help to support and protect them at this time.

My heart goes out to the victims and their families in this time of struggle and fear.
