I Fuckied Up

So I had to take a polygraph test for a job I’m applying for and I told the prompter that I was worried that my anxiety would mess up my results as sometimes questions directed at me causes me anxiety. I didn’t want to appear like I was lying when I was just really anxious. Well, skip to the end where we were discussing my anxiety and he says “It’s not affecting your charts, so unless you’re a psychopath... but obviously you’re not like that so...”

Naturally, being a nerd, I thought “Highly functioning sociopath, Anderson. Do your research.” But I didn’t say it, I just laughed. I was then sent out into the hall and was told to wait as my results were scored. I didn’t have anything to stem my anxiety as I wasn’t allowed to have my phone, and so I grabbed a pen and started writing on my palm. I wrote his quote, then the Sherlock quote because fuck if I know they just sounded funny together.

Then it happened. As I was leaving, he saw the quote on my hand, read it, and a look came across his face and I explained to him about Sherlock and he didn’t sound convinced and I spent the entire 45 minute drive home screaming.

TL;DR: I passed my polygraph but I fucked up because I’m an idiot nerd.

This episode was fucked up. It was good, but not enough. Eurus came out of nowhere, Johnlock ended up nowhere (fucking queerbait) and we didn't get to say goodbye to Molly, Greg and Mrs Hudson. It's too bad. But I still liked it. And I'm sad this is over. Shit. It is over. I didn't even realize before writing it. It is truly over. Or is it? Idk, it seems like it.

I’m guilty. because feelings are difficult. I think people complaining about sherlocks characterization in s3 and s4 come from that place too. we just want the sociopath back so we can idealize him, his ways and famous quotes to feel a little better about ourselves. for not doing feelings for whatever reason.

that sherlock is gone. now sherlock probably is better with emotions than I am and that kinda sucks. it reminds me I should work on that. but who wants to reminded of any work especially that kind of elusive difficult stuff

3. Which one do you prefer: Disney, Pixar or DreamWorks? Why? I was going to say I don't have a preference, but Disney made/owns "Tron" so... On the other hand, they seem to have dropped it in the trash, so currently I'm not that fond of Disney either.

4. What is the weirdest pairing you ship? Oh, this is gonna be embarrassing. OK, here we go: Hatano Wataru and Gabriel (as in actual angel. Perhaps the Tilda Swinton version from "Constantine"). But hear me out, I have a theory. OK, maybe not a theory. I have a fanfic, though? Well, it doesn't sound so weird once you realise Wataru is actually a character from Hatano Wataru's short film "Hajimari no Hi ni". I swear, the angel thing is actually legit then. Sort of. No, it still sounds bloody bizarre, doesn't it? Weird level 1000 :D

5. Pick your three favourite books. Which one would you burn, which one would you rewrite and which one would you re-read? If they are my favourite books, I wouldn't burn or rewrite any of them. They're fit only for re-reading: "The Hunting of the Snark" - Lewis Carroll "Pan Samochodzik" series - Zbigniew Nienacki and recently "Fudanshi Koukou Seikatsu" manga by Michinoku Atami

6. What do you most like to do in your free time? Sleep, read and listen to music.

7. What’s your favourite kind of transport? Walking on my own legs probably.
