plssss feed us more information about gerard way hs teacher au 🙏🙏🙏🙏
HIII!!!!!!
okay wajt i don't know how to start uhhh
teacher g: science teacher + cheer coach (they wear cheer uniform everytime they practice but they don't have to they just choose to and say it's for 'getting in the mood') also is the type of teacher that loves gossip fs.
mr. mikey: librarian that allows students to come eat in the library and likes to share music with them (anthrax 💀) and point out where good books are.
mr. toro: sweetest music/guitar teacher of mankind no one can hate him because he's just lovely. he would be awkward at the beginning of the year but on school trips he's really fun. also has pads, band-aids, snacks, and icepacks to give out at all times
frank: haven't figured this one out that much. he gives math teacher vibes. but in the worst way possible. he would be so much fun as a teacher though, make things very project based. also would let students into his class while it's lunch time but this time he just gives sprite to them and say it's "their little secret" and "to not tell anyone because he can't give out buttloads of sprite." also just kinda pops up around the school. the lockers are magic portals for him basically. also does not go by mr. iero. thinks it's too professional
also to add that teacher g and frank have a rivalry. like they take students from their class and bring them to the others off period when tehyre not there and tape their science/math projects on the walls or one day they fill up the others class rooms with balloons. its a friendly rivalry, it's just to get students up and moving because it's fun. + more involved.
oh and they all sit together in their free period to play very short dnd sessions
adjustments will be made this is just what i have rn, thank you for asking !!!!!!
This essay would’ve been way better if it wasn’t for her arbitrary rule of 2 handwritten foolscap pages only. THEN 2-3 single sided pages typed double spaced.
Like bitch common. I cut out huge ass chunks and it’s at 3 pages without 3rd argument, antithesis or a conclusion. AND this is like one of my finer pieces of work (or so says paper rater).
and I just watched an AMV of hotarubi no mori e and I’m trying not to curl up and cry
It's been a crazy summer so i haven't been doing a lot of crafting. Looking back on last summer I really had a lot of life changes and zero breaks from crafting. I'm taking some time now to finish a few projects that I started at the beginning of this summer. This is a dragon I'm making for one of my art teachers in high school, I really attribute him as one of the reasons I made it through highschool. Also, next year is my 10 yr grad anniversary so I felt it would be a good time to express my gratitude.
Highschool Hell part I: Battle of the Dark Lords
In which people are traumatized because the respective Dark Lords of Battery City High decide it's a good idea to start dating.
So you know. Azrael and Anthony seemed like a pretty good idea, and I said I'd write it, aaand thus. Here's part I. Whether or not there should be a part II is up to someone else, I'm leaving it open for whoever wants to continue. This is Azrael/Anthony, aaand warnings for strangeness. Because that's how I roll, aw yiss.
There's no actual smut in here(.. well, not stuff I'd see as proper smut but yarr)), and I'd love it if someone else could roll in and write some more/request specific prompts for this one. :3 Basically, this is an introductionary post into the highschool hell-universe and I'd love you forever if you wrote more of it based on the glimpses you see here.
There's an accompanying playlist: highschool hell
Highschool Hell: Battle of the Dark Lords
Battery City High was a fairly small highschool so far as highschools went, and it was also a completely ridiculous one. While the majority of the highschool-population attending Battery City High went beneath the radar, it had its fair share of strange little cliques that made the painting just that smudge more colorful. The weedheads, the partyhoppers, goody-two-shoes - Battery City High had them all. And at the top of the figurative chain of power that wasn't really all that figurative were the two Dark Lords. They hadn't named themselves that(they'd earned their titles fair and square), and they ruled the population with the fact that no one was stupid enough to cross either of them.
It seemed the only people who didn't fear the Dark Lords were the Dark Lords themselves - and this kept the school in a strange state of status quo. It wasn't even that they had followers; their fellow students just picked sides when it became needed. Picking sides turned out to be something that was very often needed, as the two Dark Lords had been engaged in a petty sort of highschool war for nearly four years. Food fights were started in the cafeteria, the benches were drenched by water balloons, students felt terrorized and two gentlemen stood at the center of the chaos.
Exactly what it was that had made Anthony Barrett and Azrael Chisholm so hellbent on destroying each other wasn't something many people dared speculating over. Some said it was a feud that went back all the way to kindergarten. Others said that the two had never even seen each other until they were both freshmen. Most agreed that the two of them were just too alike. Needless to say, the two weren't often found communicating directly with one another - which was indeed a trait that had helped them earn their respective titles; a certain sense of dramatic flair - and thus it was that one of their few fellow friends found himself tasked with being the poor messenger flying inbetween the two.

Mitchell Marrow wasn't always too happy about the friends he had. Not that he didn't like them, he did, sort of - but the two were fucking bothersome as hell. He'd had to run across the schoolyard several times already that day, and it was beginning to grate on him. Why the hell he put up with it was beyond him, because honestly, his two friends of sorts should have the brains and the politeness to carry out their own goddamn conversation. The conversation he'd had to deliver that particular day ran like this:
"Chisholm, you're not getting 12 Monkeys back until I get back my copy of Fight Club."
"Barrett, shut your goddamn mouth. You know very well that you borrowed 12 Monkeys before I borrowed Fight Club, and whoever borrows first, delivers first."
"Not true. I even have the date you borrowed it written down."
"Control-freak."
And so there he was, the token messenger between the two Dark Lords, his patience worn down to a thin sliver, telling Anthony Barrett exactly how he felt about the situation. Mitchell could feel his resolve slip away the further he got into his rant about why it should have to be necessary for him to run all across school. Couldn't Az and Tony just text each other? Or talk, like regular people? Despite Mitchell's nervousness, the only thing he got in reply was "Oh."
Not a severe scolding or a death threat or anything of the sort. Just "Oh."
It made him more nervous than he'd been ever before in the company of either of his ridiculous friends, and with good reason. Not a day later the two had engaged in what seemed to be constant texting, and it made everyone scared.
Not nervous, not "on their toes", not mildly surprised, disappointed or glad.
Scared.

The fact that they were now referring to each other as Az and Tony didn't help much, either. It wasn't until a friend of a friend of someone's cousin informed the grapevine of how the two misters Barrett & Chisholm had been spotted in relatively close distance - a relatively close distance for the two of them, at least - with nothing but a parkbench separating them that the student population tremored.
It was as though everything escalated. The foodfights, the occasional waterballoon sprees.. Nothing was the same. It was infinitely worse, though no one could entirely put their finger on why. At one point, the weekly foodfight was replaced by a paintball war. There were rumours the two Dark Lords had been having a Community marathon, which explained the motive, but not the method. Honestly, however, no one but the two Dark Lords could manage getting paintball equipment into Battery City High and get away with it.
It wasn't until Scout Loken - a junior and resident art school-material - took what would be her first trip behind the bleachers that the school truly felt fear.

She'd decided on going behind the bleachers for an assignment in her art-class. It was a relatively quiet place, or so she'd been told, and sitting down to draw there seemed like a good idea. At least it did until she went around the corner and found the mentally scarring image of messieurs Chisholm and Barrett making out; hands roaming where they probably shouldn't be found roaming in a relatively public space.
It was mentally scarring and very, very, very attractive.
Hands tugged at hair, nails digged into backs, lips were being nipped at, a constant struggle of power- and oh god, was that a growl? Scout slowly backed away, making sure to keep the mental images for her recent venture into making slash-comics. They would certainly come in handy.
It wasn't as though two eighteen year-olds pushing each other against walls while making out aggressively could hurt a slash-comic, after all.

Azrael grinned as he opened his locker and found his copy of 12 Monkeys in pristine condition. As he closed his locker, Anthony gave him a grin from down the hallway - Fight Club in hand. The hallway was empty save for the two of them, and school was over anyhow.
"Saw-marathon at my place?"
"Yes."

coda
They're halfway through the first movie before Anthony straddles Azrael, awkward limbs tangling in each other as they return to making out. It's a pretty nice side-effect of their relationship of sorts. Their lips are bruised and they're both panting before they decide to watch the movie again, wearing matching grins. Azrael is pretty certain he'll have to wear sweaters until the bitemark of a hickey he's received has faded.
The decision to incorporate some of Saw into their high school-antics is mutual.
