“Whispers of the unspoken”
A distant memory that you don’t remember find its way back to you, through your dreams. It feels too vivid to ignore. It felt too real to be just an imagination.
In the dream, there was this man, sharp gray eyes, filled with the weight of grief and loss, and black hair that fell neatly just above his brows. There was something hauntingly familiar about him. The way he looked at you, the way he carried himself, it all echoed to someone you knew in real life.
Your senior.
The resemblance was unmistakable: the same eyes, the same remarkable presence.
But in the dream, he was different. Not just in appearance —slightly shorter but also more worn out and tired. Like a version of him shaped by a world far harsher than yours.
In the dream, the two of you fought side by side. You don’t remember the battles exactly, but you remember the way he stood beside you, the way you always found your way back to each other. No words were ever spoken, but the feeling was undeniable: there was love that existed. Quiet, genuine, and unspoken.
But in that memory, the world was too cruel for softness. Love felt like a weakness, a dangerous thing to hold onto in a place where people died suddenly and without any warning. So neither of you ever said it. You both carried it in silence, believing it would only get in the way. Love felt like just another thing the world could steal away.
And now, in this life in the quiet moments between sleep and waking, those memories returned. Uninvited, but persistent. They tug at your chest and whisper what was left unsaid.
So the question lingers:
Now that you remember, fate different from the cruel destiny of the past..
will you finally be able to say the words you never could before?
Will you pursue the love that never had the chance to exist?

Another story!
I keep getting caught up in new ideas, instead of focusing on finishing the next part of my first works. 😅
But anyway, here’s a new story from my drafts which will have several parts: an AU set in the modern world, where both characters are in high school. Levi is a grade twelve senior, preparing to graduate while You’re a grade eleven student, Carrying the memories of the past, finding the courage to begin something that has lingered long before. A love that once lived, now waiting to be revived.
But as you start over, you face the challenge of his cold, quiet demeanor.
Will your patience and love be enough to bridge the gap?
Can you find a way to say what has remained unsaid for so long?
