Things I've noticed about (my) highschool
Teachers will have in depth conversations about drugs with you
The whole "no name calling in class" was just a courtesy, they don't really care and most of them pitch in if it gets interesting
All my classes are way easier than last year. What even???
Literally 99% of the kids don't care about anything
All the boys have long hair now???
Slurs are funny to literally anyone who isn't some kind of minority
Stress and sleep deprivation are a real combination
If you define "great combination" as anything that will get you quoted on someone's snapchat...
Saying something really embarrassing and stupid.
"I have a crush on literally anything with a heartbeat and tits."
In general? Teachers don't sugarcoat ANYTHING, or treat you like some innocent child
Which doesn't bother me but it's a shock after being treated like a fragile baby literally six months ago
Somehow everyone is MORE immature than before
Everyone I know has problems now.
People are happier to forgive and forget when someone does something mean rather than hold them accountable
Literally everyone is desensitized to anything involving death
This isn't related to highschool but I've nearly been hit by a bus like three times
