🌊On this happy note, the challenge is declared closed. I admit, this is my first triumphantly completed challenge. I hope you had as much fun as Muse did. Many thanks to @missyfleming for dragging me underwater into it, and to sangbonbon @battyccino for support.
⚓A little insight into the concept. The style was inspired by vintage fashion magazines (for example, a Russian 'Vestnik mody' or a French 'Le Petit Courrier des Dames' ). If you have noticed the bottom caption, it literally translates as “Underwater Fashion.” Regarding the illustrations themselves, I relied more on an interesting shape language and a successful combination of colors / textures of the source materials, rather than on a thought-over, believable functionality. Guilty as charged. However, who could deny a girl, being tempted by a pretty hat?
