Dear bestfriend

Hello again, 

It’s been awhile, hasn’t it? How are you doing? Are you still in Pallet, or are the rumors true that you’ve made your own place in life now? I can only wonder, huh? 

I’m in Hoenn now. I couldn’t be as strong as you both. I wasn’t able to collect the last Gym Badge, and I don’t know if I could push Blair and the rest that hard so I left —

Leaf crumpled up the piece of paper and shook her head. She couldn’t do it. She couldn’t tell him the truth. She couldn’t say how much of a coward she’d been, how she’d basicaly run away from everything she’d spent the past year training for only to fail. She had failed and that was why she was in Hoenn, to make sure she would never fail again. Or maybe… to live forever in isolation…

She hadn’t decided which path she’d take yet.

Rosa just went entirely red, squirming and shaking in denial. "But I'm not a real princess!" But she liked the queen thing; meant she was pretty lexible right? Never tied down to anything.

The Poke-cookies were held up in their box in offering to Hilbert. "Cookies?" echoed she, with a slight look of bafflement.

Daintily did the lass flick off her fellow Unovan's hat, giving her room so she could swoop in. But first, her fingers tenderly brushed his hair away, a fond smile on her face as she realized he had hat hair. "Silly Hilly-Billy," mumbled the starlet, a chuckle under her breath. She combed his hair back with her fingers until she was satisfied with her work, the way now truly clear for her.

"Close your eyes, Hilbert," she bade quietly. When he did she rose, lips touching his eyelids breezily, once on each closed eye.

Out of Kindness: And now I am imagining how much it would hurt everyone knowing that everyone else got out of that ferris wheel just fine thanks to Rosa's flying Pokemon, but she winds up being pinned underneath all the rubble. Especially considering all the tragedy that has happened in the past to her near the ferris wheel. 8D
