You Owe Me: Mafia families with two kids who are best friends. Merger in the making, or war?
Yes yes this will be good
I don't live in an average household. My parents don't work average jobs. I don't live an average life. But to me. This is normal. The normal I get to share with my best friend.
And it's a normal nobody's going to take from me.
"Ah~Don Ghetsis Pleasure to see you." Cheeks were kissed and words were exchanged. A green haired boy made his way over, sitting on the couch not to far from her. She looked up, offering a small smile and he smiles back. They seem to exchange a silent conversation before the parents re-enter the room. "Alright Aria time for mommy and daddy to go to work." The girl looked up from her book, smiling softly. "Have fun" Her parents simply smirked before disappearing down a hallway with the green haired boys father. She was quietly reading a book when he spoke.
"Just what are you reading?"
Aria closed the book. "A romance." He stuck his tongue out in distaste. "Sounds boring."
"Oh hardly. It's a romance with a murder."
"Now it just got better." Aria laughed. He stands, holding his hand out for her. "Come on. Lets go hang out." Aria gently bit her lip. "Oh. I dunno Natural. I mean the world is so big and dangerous. Can't have me out there getting hurt." She offered and innocent smile. He simply rolled his eyes "Oh relax princess." A light giggle escaped her lips and she took her hand, pulling herself up.
The two walk, hand in hand outside the large manor.
Scattered across the open space were men leaning on cars, smoking cigars or just loudly arguing with one another. The pair make their way through the crowds, watching them part. He chuckled. "Oh it's good being the boss mans little boy."
"Works much better if your the boss's little princess." He rolled his eyes once more. "Oh shut up, you~" She pressed her lips to his cheek. "Nah. I think I'll keep talking."
He placed a hand in his pocket, not too bothered by the kiss. They had shared many more in their lifetime. "You know....One day we're gonna run this whole show." She nodded.
"And things...They might change...." He looked at her. "What if we become enemies?"
She shook her head. "I doubt that's going to happen..."
"How can you be so sure?"
She smiled brightly at him. "Because we're best friends. We're family. And no matter what happens..The family comes first...That's what they taught us, right?"
He turned, so that only his profile was visible. "Yeah." He lowered his head and smirked.
